The high frequency transmission cable comprises insulated conductors assembled together in bundles which are themselves assembled together in at least one unit, and also comprising an outer sheath for overall protection. It further comprises a dielectric rod that is grooved lengthwise for assembling together the bundles in each unit, the grooves of the rod being open via respective slots and serving to hold individual bundles while keeping them apart from one another. The cable is particularly suitable for use as a computer cable.

High frequency transmission cable

An easy-strip cable includes individually insulated electrical conductors assembled into sets and a continuous insulative sheath around said sets and separating them into two groups. The sheath is divided into two tubular portions substantially partly open at facing locations along the cable and joined together by two peripheral continuity tongues allowing the sheath to be opened as required. The cable can be used as a high-frequency signal transmission cable.

Easy-strip cable

An electrical cable comprises a central conductor core protected by an intermediate sealing sheath of insulating material. The intermediate sheath is surrounded by armoring and the armoring by an outer sealing sheath of insulating material. The cable includes an electrical joint in its central core. The outer and intermediate sheaths and the armoring are cut and removed over the joint. The cable further comprises an over-molding forming a sleeve around the joint and extending over the outer sheath on either side of the joint. The armoring and the outer sheath are cut and removed over a portion of length greater than the portion over which the intermediate sheath is removed, thereby defining, on either side of the joint, a shoulder and a step between the intermediate sheath and the outer sheath. The over-molding engages snugly over the shoulders and the steps to form a watertight seal therewith.
