A method and system for cooling an electric motor of a simulation or video game controller that comprises a rotor arranged in a casing, wherein the method comprises a forced air ventilation from the outside of the casing to the inside of the casing by a fan arranged on the rotor and kinetically decoupled from the rotor. As such, cold outside air is recovered and circulates through the coils which constitute the heat source and expulsed to the other end of the motor. There is therefore a homogeneous extraction of the heat from the coils. As the fan is kinetically decoupled from the rotor, the cooling system therefore operates independently of the speed of rotation of the main shaft of the motor.

Method and system for cooling an electric motor of a simulation or video game controller

The invention relates to a controller, in particular for video games, capable of operating according to at least a gear selection mode and a brake mode. According to the invention, said controller comprises a support casing, a lever mounted on said support casing and capable of pivoting from a neutral position around at least an axis, and a detector to detect, in the gear selection mode, at least two different positions of the lever obtained by the pivoting thereof from the neutral position and, in the brake mode, an angular value corresponding to a braking force required by a user by the pivoting of the controller lever according to said axis.

Multimode controller for video games

The invention relates to a speed controller, in particular for video games, capable of operating according to a sequential mode and a manual mode comprising: a support casing (), a lever () hingeably mounted on said support casing and capable of pivoting from a neutral position, in a longitudinal direction around a transversal axis and in a transversal direction around a longitudinal axis, and detection means for detecting, in the manual mode, at least two different positions of the lever obtained by the pivoting thereof in at least the longitudinal direction from the neutral position and, in the sequential mode, at least two different positions of the lever, characterized in that the detection means are capable of detecting, in the sequential mode, at least two different positions of the lever obtained by the pivoting thereof in the transversal direction from the neutral position.

Sequential mode and manual mode speed controller for video games

A game controller having at least one arm mobile in relation to a base over a nominal range of displacement between two extreme positions, which implements a stopping mechanism of the aim 1n an intermediary locking position between the extreme positions to avoid reaching involuntarily a zone of the nominal range of displacement. An element of the stopping mechanism is removable and/or retractable with respect to the base so that this element is able to take two positions, an active position, wherein the stopping mechanism in the intermediary locking position is active and cooperates with the base and the arm, and an inactive position, wherein the stopping mechanism is inactive. The game controller also implements mechanical means of crossing the intermediary locking position under the action of a specific control carried out by a user when the stopping mechanism is active.

The invention relates to a video game controller () having a rotatable actuator () with respect to a frame (), so as to simulate at least one simulated vehicle steering column rotation control. According to the invention, said actuator () is translatably mounted with respect to said fixed frame (), on a predetermined movement range, using an assembly of two sliding parts () with one or both sliding with respect to the other, one of said sliding parts () being rigidly connected to said actuator () and the other to said fixed frame (), a first of said sliding parts () comprising at least one slot (F), accessible by an opening () in which one penetrating portion () of the second of said sliding parts () moves along one separate axis of the rotation movement axis of said actuator (), the translation movement of said actuator () being generated by electromagnetic means controlled by an electrical signal, the first of said sliding parts comprising at least one winding and the second of said sliding parts comprising a magnet.
