This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of red raspberry plant () named 'WSU 2188' from a controlled cross of two unnamed WSU raspberry selections that is different from its parents and other mid-season raspberries. ‘WSU 2188’ is primarily characterized by suitability for machine harvestability, adapted to the raspberry production area of the Pacific Northwest tolerance to root rot, mid-season production and large, conical fruit.

This invention relates to a new and distinct cultivar of strawberry plant (Duch) named 'Puget Crimson'. 'Puget Crimson' is a late season, June-bearing (short-day) cultivar adapted to the Pacific Northwest. 'Puget Crimson' is distinguished by its upright growth habit, strong vigor, large fruit that is longer than wide, high yields of very late season production and an excellent strong strawberry flavor.

Based on trials on root rot infested soil, the cultivar appears to be highly tolerant of root rot, producing very high yields on these sites.

A new and distinct cultivar of red raspberry (i.e., L. ) is provided. The cultivar, designated WSU 1090, forms exceptionally large fruit with good flavor. The fruit is conical in shape. The fruit is larger, firmer, and has a greater length / width ratio than the fruit of most raspberry cultivars.

'Schwartze' is characterized by fruit which is large, firm, easily capped and very late seasoned. The fruit is high in yield, has excellent flesh flavor, and very low levels of preharvest fruit rot.

`Puget Reliance` is large fruited, high yielding, medium red strawberry suited to processing that is very virus tolerant and moderately cold hardy, producing fruit at the same time as `Totem`.
