Firearm lower receiver

A safety selector for a firearm, including a first lever including an integrally formed safety shaft and a first handle located outside the lower receiver for actuation, as well as a bearing portion, a selector portion and a connecting portion. To facilitate disassembly and interchangeability, the first lever is configured for spring-biased coupling to a securing element and has, on the connecting portion, a positioning protrusion projecting toward the opposite side of the weapon. In a longitudinal direction, the positioning protrusion has a shape-complementary bore for receiving a connecting assembly which includes a connecting element, a spring and a spring lock.

A handguard for mounting on a firearm with a housing axis, including: a housing with a slit and with a clamping device including a lever with a center element which lies in a normal plane to the housing axis in a through-opening. It has a recess in its central region, a thread at one end, a lever arm at the other end, and a nut with an internal thread. According to the invention, the center element has a conical nut section. In the assembled state, a nut is screwed onto the thread and thus the center element is arranged in an annular groove of the travelling nut so as to make contact with the center element.

Adapters for mounting an accessory on a firearm, firearm accessories configured to mount to those adapters, and sheath or handguard assemblies of firearms are disclosed. The recited accessory adapter is substantially annular or tubular in shape, and includes at least two portions that are arranged adjacently along the barrel axis of the firearm. A rear portion is formed on the weapon side of the adapter, so that the rear portion is geometrically complementary to the front end of a firearm sheath, at least in part, and a front portion of the adapter includes a cylindrical coupling surface on the outside for coupling of the accessory, where the coupling surface includes at least one bayonet extension that projects radially outwards.

Dust cover assembly for a firearm, including a dust cover, a first bushing and a second bushing, a pin guided in the first bushing with pin end and a cover spring. The dust cover assembly lends itself to tool-free mounting/dismounting and disassembly/assembly, as the assembly is configured so that the pin is received spring-preloaded in the axial direction at least in the first bushing and a guide extension for interacting with a guide groove and an insertion groove of the first bushing is formed on the pin. An insertion groove can be formed parallel to the axis of rotation of the pin on the inside of the first bushing, which begins at the outer end of the bushing and ends at the guide groove and is connected to the guide groove.

Dust cover assembly for a firearm

Charging handles for firearms, particularly gas-powered rifles. The disclosed charging handles can be operated on both sides of the firearm and include a shaft having with lateral widening at both sides. The charging handle includes an active handle, a passive handle, and a latch, where the active handle is rotatable about a pin and is urged into a fixing position by at least one spring, such that when the active handle is rotated against the spring force, the latch is released. The passive handle is configured so that when the passive handle is rotated, the passive handle also rotates the active handle. In order to relieve the pin, the release position of the active handle is defined by a support surface on the lateral widening of the shaft. The passive handle is configured analogously.
