The invention relates to a Switch connector for mounting on a printed circuit board, adapted to receive a mating connector in an insertion direction along an insertion axis. The switch connector comprises a shield, a contact element, and a contact spring having at least one fixed leg, at least one elastically deflectable switching leg, and at least one spring bend, the fixed leg and the switching leg extending from the spring bend in a common direction and passing the insertion axis. The switching leg is adapted to be moved by insertion of the mating connector from a rest position, at which the switching leg exerts a spring force onto the contact element, to a switching position, at which the switching leg is spaced apart from the contact element, at least one spring force flux that in the rest position is generated by the switching leg and guided in a closed loop to the fixed leg. To increase the reliability of the switching function, the shield is arranged in the closed loop of the spring force flux.

Miniature switch connector

The invention relates to a coaxial connector () for mounting on a printed circuit board adapted to receive a mating coaxial connector in an insertion direction (I). The coaxial connector comprises a contact spring () having a fixed leg () and an deflectable switching leg (). The switching leg () is moved by insertion of the mating connector from a rest position to a switching position. In rest position said switching leg electrically conductively presses against the switch portion () of the contact element (). The spring force flux (F) is guided via a contact element () in a closed loop back to the contact spring (). In switching position the switching leg () is spaced apart in an switching direction (D) from the switch portion () by the inserted mating connector. To provide smaller dimensions the contact element () is formed as a substantially C-shaped clip forming an opening (O) framed by the support portion () and the switch portion (), the switching leg () of the contact spring () extending into the opening.

Coaxial connector

A composite electrical connector assembly includes a housing, a shield, and an electrical contact. The housing is formed from a first material and has an interior chamber. The interior chamber includes a stepped cylindrical surface with first and second openings at mating and mounting ends of the housing, respectively. The interior chamber is staged in diameter to form front, intermediate and rear stages. The shield is formed from a second material and is shaped to fit within the interior chamber. The shield engages the rear stage of the interior chamber and is prevented from being removed from the second opening by the rear stage. The electrical contact is disposed within the interior chamber, is aligned along a longitudinal axis of the connector assembly and is configured to receive a center conductor of a cable and to connect with a conductor of a communication device.

Composite electrical connector assembly

The invention relates to a Microswitch connector (), having an insulating housing () with a contact chamber () with an insertion opening () and a contact switch spring () arranged in the contact chamber (). The housing () has an electrically conductive stop () on a side of the contact chamber () remote from the insertion opening () for making a first external electrical connection. The contact switch spring () has a spring bend connecting a fixed leg () to a switch leg (). The fixed leg () is fixed in the housing () outside the insertion path of the plug-in contact with a connection end () for making a second external electrical connection, and the switch leg () extends obliquely into the insertion path in the direction of the stop () and pivotal resiliently relative to the fixed leg () with a free end () pre-tensioned to rest against the stop ().

Microswitch connector

Disclosed is a micro-plug and socket connector that is suitable for mounting on a printed circuit board and that has a plastic housing including a fastening surface with soldering portions for mounting on the surface of the printed circuit board, a plug receiving opening having an inner contact region for the receiving and contacting a pin contact, and an outer contact terminal. The inner contact region, the outer contact terminal, the soldering portions and the electrically conductive connections provided therebetween are formed of metallized portions on the plastic housing.

Micro-plug and socket connector

A coaxial connector for connecting a first contacting means and a second contacting means. The coaxial connector having a dielectric housing an inner conductor electrically connected to the first contacting means and resiliently biased between a second mated position and a second unmated position. An outer conductor positioned adjacent to the dielectric case and having a first outer conductor section electrically coupled with a second outer conductor section that is resiliently biased in respect to the first outer conductor section between a first mated position and a first unmated position. The second contacting means having a first contact pad that contacts the second outer conductor section when the second outer conductor section is in a mated position and a second contact pad that contacts the inner conductor section when the inner conductor section is in the mated position.

Coaxial connector for interconnecting printed circuit boards

The invention provides a coaxial connector assembly comprising a first coaxial connector and a second coaxial connector matable therewith in an axial direction, each connector comprising a mating section having an inner contact surrounded by an outer contact and separated therefrom by a dielectric, the first or second coaxial connectors having a lead-in portion for guiding and locating the connector mating sections of the first and second coaxial connector during plugging together, wherein said inner contact is formed by a resilient metal strip which is integrally formed with a contact portion being adapted to provide a switchable electrical connection with a corresponding counter contact portion depending on the mated or unmated state of the coaxial connector assembly. Furthermore, there is provided an antenna assembly having an integrated switching function, comprising a first coaxial connector being matable with a second coaxial connector in an axial direction, each connector comprising a mating section having an inner contact surrounded by an outer contact separated therefrom by a dielectric, said first or second coaxial connectors having a lead-in portion for guiding and locating the connector mating sections of the first and second coaxial connector during plugging together, and switching means having a common RF input signal terminal and switching the RF signal to either an antenna portion of the assembly or said second connector depending on the unmated or mated state of the assembly, wherein said first coaxial connector is at least partially integrated with said antenna portion.

Coaxial connector assembly and antenna assembly having a switching function

A coaxial switching connector especially applicable for use in cell phones is provided with a phone connector and a cradle connector where the cradle connector is mounted in a support structure via a conically shaped coil spring that allows both radial and axial displacement of the connector for absorption of tolerances and mechanical solicitation between the cell phone and its cradle.

Coaxial switch connector assembly

A coaxial splicing connector has an inner contact section and an outer conductor stamped and formed from sheet metal and having crimping arms that engage hinged stuffer members for stuffing the coaxial connector inner conductors into contact slots. Insulation piercing blades extend inward from the outer conductor and pierce through the coaxial cable outer conductor for electrical contact therewith during the crimping operation. Rapid splicing connection between coaxial connectors is thus achieved.
