A sport apparatus comprising a shaft, wherein the shaft comprises a notch fitting and a sensor housing. The sensor housing comprises an alignment rib fitting, printed circuit board, rechargeable battery, one or more motion sensors, a transceiver, an inductive charging coil, among other necessary elements for the sport apparatus as described herein. A portion of the sensor housing resides within the shaft, wherein the alignment rib of the sensor housing mates with a notch or other locking mechanism of the shaft.

A foot sensor feedback device with multiple passive sensors in a shoe insole to provide real time feedback for a microprocessor to control a haptic device on the ankle of a person and to store and display data on an application on a smart phone to provide balance to a person while standing still or walking.

Passive multiple foot sensor insole real-time feedback device

A feedback device determines when a person has placed enough weight upon his/her foot to safely take the next step, and then communicate that information to the person via a haptic device on the person's ankle or an audio, visual and/or vibration feedback display on an application on the person's smart phone. Five sensors in an insole between the person's foot and shoe determine the force of the person's leg. The five sensors in the insole will be positioned under the heel, the fifth metatarsal head, the first metatarsal head, the space between the second metatarsal head and the third metatarsal head, and the hallux (big toe).

Passive five sensor insole real-time feedback device

If the processed data exceeds the baseline, the microprocessor will activate the haptic device on the person's ankle to vibrate and/or transmit the processed data through a wireless communications device to an application on a smart phone to activate an audio, visual and/or vibration feedback display on the application. The person will then safely take the next step.

Passive foot sensor insole real-time feedback device

This disclosure relates to an evaluation device and methods for evaluating the swing of a piece of athletic equipment. The evaluation device may include a microphone, an accelerometer, and a microcontroller configured to detect a stroke and ball strike and track the position of the athletic equipment in three-dimensional space. The evaluation device may also include a radio for wireless transmissions, a battery, and a sound tube connected to the microphone. The evaluation device can be used in conjunction with a host computer to store, and display data gathered by the evaluation device. In some methods, a stroke that is detected from a swing and a ball strike can be determined by comparing signals received from the accelerometer and the microphone to predetermined criteria.

Device, system, and method for evaluation of a swing of a piece of athletic equipment

A system is described for managing administration of medical care. The system can include a patient record system that contains electronic records for patients in a hospital. The electronic records may include scheduling information for medicine administration to the patient. A display terminal can be connected to the patient record system and be configured to read an RFID tag on the patient. The display terminal can then identify the patient and display the patient's medicine schedule.

A system is described for managing data and information in a healthcare environment, such as a hospital. A handheld code scanner reads codes and either accepts data, or performs instructions based on the read code. The code scanner wirelessly transmits the codes or data to a central server which acts on the read code to carry out necessary functions. Auxiliary storage and dispensing unit

An improved medication dispenser station is provided for controlled access storage of medications and other pharmaceuticals in a medical facility, such as a hospital or the like. The dispenser station comprises a housing with a plurality of normally locked drawers which have been preloaded with selected pharmaceutical items. A control unit on the housing is programmed to unlock the drawers one at a time to permit access to the contents thereof, with such access being contingent upon keyboard entry of a predetermined access code and other selected information sufficient to generate an access record. In a preferred form, each drawer includes multiple compartments containing multiple pharmaceutical items in a presorted array. One or more of the drawers desirably includes a multicompartment carousel tray which rotates in response to appropriate data entry via the keyboard to align and lock a designated compartment for access through an access opening in an overlying cover plate, thereby restricting access to a single compartment of the rotatable tray.
