Liquid supply or reservoir therefore having multiple compartments, each compartment to hold a distinct liquid, comprising multiple liquid outlets, each fluidically connected to one of the compartments, multiple clearance cut outs disposed at a pitch equal to a pitch of the compartments to accommodate protrusions of a dispenser, and at least one latch protruding outwards from a supply wall.

In one example, a group of printing fluid cartridges in which each cartridge includes: a reservoir; a printing fluid outlet from the reservoir; multiple electrical contacts arranged next to one another across the cartridge with an interface along the cartridge between each pair of adjacent electrical contacts; and multiple guideways next to the electrical contacts lengthwise and configured to align the cartridge to a receiver when the cartridge is installed in the receiver. Each of the guideways spans exactly one of the interfaces widthwise and is configured to simultaneously align the electrical contacts to corresponding electrical contacts on a receiver and to discriminate the cartridge from other printing fluid cartridges to prevent the cartridge from being inserted incorrectly into a receiver.

Fluid cartridge

A print cartridge comprises an ink housinghaving at least one interior compartmentwith a print head mounted at the base of the housing in fluid communication with the compartment via a passagewayhaving an entrance above the bottom of the compartment. A compressed foam blocksubstantially fills the compartment above the passageway entrance so as to leave a free space laterally adjacent to the passageway. A ribextends upwardly along one wall of the compartment from the free space partially to the top of the foam block, the foam block not conforming fully to the cross-section of the rib to leave an air vent channel along at least one side of the rib.
