An applicator for a cosmetic product, in particular mascara, comprises a twisted core and fibres which extend from the core and are retained by the core, the core extending in a main longitudinal direction, referred to as the main axis (X), the core being rectilinear along the main axis (X), and the fibres forming an envelope (E) with their free ends. The envelope (E) has four faces (F-F), the faces (F-F) each having a plane of symmetry comprising the main axis (X), each of the four faces (F-F) being generated by a straight line, referred to as a generating line, orthogonal to the main axis (X) and orthogonal to the plane of symmetry of the face (F-F), at least two consecutive faces (F, F) of the four faces (F-F) having a curved profile along the main axis (X).

An applicator for cosmetic products, typically mascara, comprising a brush made up of fibers trapped between two twisted arms extending in an axial direction and defining turns is characterized in that at least one of said turns is a turn that is not circular. More particularly, these turns describe noncircular ellipses. Such an applicator can be obtained by radial crushing of a standard type brush.

An applicator is provided for a cosmetic product, in particular mascara. The applicator includes a brush which includes a core and fibers projecting from the core. At least one of the fibers includes an elongate portion made of a first material and a lobe arranged at an end of the elongate portion. The lobe in turn is made of a second material coating an end of the elongate portion.

Mascara sample dispenser applicators have a mascara applicator including a rod and a tip for applying the mascara to the eyelashes of the user. A receptacle contains a small amount of mascara and includes both a first opening through which the rod passes and a second opening through which the applicator tip is pushed out by translation of the rod relative to the receptacle, allowing the user to apply mascara. The second opening may be hermetically sealed by a film that cannot be returned to its original position or condition after use.

An applicator for a cosmetic product is provided, which includes a container having an opening, a first wiper element coupled to the container, proximate the opening, and an applicator arrangement removably coupled to the container. The applicator arrangement includes an elongate hollow tube that is slidable through the first wiper element and has an opening defined by a rim at a distal end and a second handle at a proximal end. The rim defines a second wiper element, and the first handle is releasably fitted to the second handle. When the applicator arrangement is removed from the container the first wiper element scrapes excess cosmetic product from the applicator element and when the first handle is separated from the second handle the second wiper element scrapes excess cosmetic product from the applicator element.

An applicator brush includes a stem, and a plurality of bristles supported by the stem. The stem extends from an end of a rod and includes a first branch and a second branch twisted together, each branch having a non-circular cross-section The bristles are positioned between the twisted first and second branches. In some embodiments, each branch includes a plurality of strands pre-twisted together to create the non-circular cross-section of each branch, forming a multi-helicoidal stem.

An applicator dispenser includes a body forming a reservoir for the cosmetic product provided with a neck threaded on the outside, a sidewall and a bottom, an applicator having a head threaded on the inside forming a gripping element, an axial rod fixed at its upper end to the head and at its lower end to an application element, a wiper having an upper part fixing the wiper to said neck, and a lower narrowed part designed to wipe the application element. The wiper has an intermediate axial connecting part, which together with the upper and lower narrowed part form a single piece.
