The present invention discloses a process for the catalytic cracking of a weakly coking feedstock having a Conradson carbon residue of 0.1% by weight and a hydrogen content of greater than 12.7% by weight, comprising at least a feedstock cracking zone, a zone for separating/stripping the effluents from the coked catalyst particles and a zone for regenerating said particles, characterized in that at least a solid carbon material in the fluidized state, having a carbon content equal to or greater than 80% by weight, is injected upstream of and/or during the catalyst regeneration step into a dense bed of coked catalyst.

The present invention relates to a multi staged cracking and stripping process that can be used in a fluidized-bed catalytic cracking process or FCC (fluidized catalytic cracking) process for maximizing the production of olefins, that is to say of Cand Colefins, in particular propylene and distillates. One subject of the present invention is therefore a multi-staged process for cracking and stripping a fluidized mixture of hydrocarbons and of coked catalyst particles, integrated into a conventional fluidized-bed catalytic cracking process comprising at least one cracking step and one stripping step after separation of the particles of coked catalyst from the cracked effluent during the disengaging/stripping step, characterized in that it comprises at least two steps of cracking at least one hydrocarbonaceous fluid over the separated coked catalyst particles followed by at least two steps of stripping these particles, each cracking step preceding a stripping step. A device suitable for atomization and injection of a hydrocarbon batch into a reaction chamber comprises an admission and mixing chamber () for the liquid hydrocarbon batch introduced into the device by a tube () and for an atomization gas introduced into the device by a cylindrical casing () containing tube (). An apparatus for separating and stripping a mixture of gas and particles comprises an envelope having separation chambers and circulation chambers distributed about a reactor, the upper portion of each separation chamber comprising an inlet opening communicating with the reactor and with a zone for rotating the mixture in a vertical plane.
