A lighting device including an LED light source, wherein the LED light source includes a first LED strand for generating a first light with a first correlated color temperature and a second LED strand for generating a second light with a second color temperature different from the first color temperature. The lighting device further comprises control electronics with a controllable LED driver for driving the LED light source, wherein the control electronics comprise a switch for switching between the first LED strand and the second LED strand so that either the first LED strand or the second LED strand is activated depending on the switch position. A lighting system comprising the lighting device is further disclosed.

A light fixture and a method of making a light fixture include a light-permeable tube, at least one end cap pushed onto a free end of the tube for closure, and a driver device received at least partially in the tube and held in the tube by the end cap for driving a light module arranged in the tube. The end cap is fastened on the tube by an expanded adhesive and the driver device is fastened to the end cap or to the tube by the expanded adhesive.

A semiconductor lamp includes a housing with a cavity to accommodate a light source, preferably an LED, and a driver for the light source. The housing has at least one injection channel for injection of an encapsulation material into the cavity of the housing. A semiconductor lamp is produced by providing a housing with a cavity and inserting a driver and a light source into the cavity. Following the insertion of the driver and the light source into the cavity, an encapsulation material is introduced into at least a part of the cavity through at least one injection channel of the housing.
