A base has a rodent inlet opening and interior walls which define a rodent runway which communicates with an interior compartment. A downwardly opening compartment with a cover defines a case for receiving a sensor module mounted beneath a threshold at the entry of the rodent runway to the interior compartment. Portions of the base bottom wall and the cover define a perimeter double lip on one of the base bottom wall and the cover which extends vertically beneath the compartment and is configured to extend around the sensor module and on the other of the base bottom wall and the cover there is a vertically protruding peripheral bead which extends between the perimeter double lip. The case encloses the sensor module and protects it from exposure to moisture, dirt, and rodent waste within the base interior.

A rodent trap has a base with a rodent inlet opening and interior walls which define a rodent runway which communicates with a trap interior compartment. A downwardly opening compartment with a cover defines a case which receives a sensor module mounted beneath a threshold at the entry of the rodent runway to the trap interior compartment. The module has a capacitance sensor which detects the passage of a rodent into the interior compartment, and has a programmable controller which logs each rodent entry. The module has a Bluetooth transmitter which allows the module to communicate with a pest control operator to exchange the logged information. The case encloses the sensor module and protects it from exposure to moisture, dirt, and rodent waste within the trap interior.

A mechanical rodent trap has a jaw mounted to a base, with a trigger therebetween which is activated by the incidence of a rodent. An acceleration sensor is mounted in a case in the base in a sensor module that logs and transmit a signal indicating activation of the trap. Alternatively a magnet holder secures a magnet to the trigger, and a Hall effect sensor is used in the sensor module. The sensor modules are sealed within a compartment formed with the base beneath the trigger and closed by a cover.

A rodent bait station has an electronic sensor module protected within a sealed receptacle beneath a tray bottom wall. A threshold is defined by walls on the upper side of the tray. A rodent must pass over the threshold to reading a feeding portion of the tray which supports rodent bait. The sensor module has a capacitance sensor urged against the bottom wall of the tray and which detects the passing of a rodent into the feeding area. The incidence of the rodent is logged and made available to a device exterior of the tray.

A tourniquet, a method, and a system that can secure logging of compliance with an external communication apparatus and marry two segregated steps of infusing and logging. The tourniquet has a controller that monitors compliance based on signals received from various switches/sensors that indicate whether a clasp has been inserted in the buckle and thereafter whether a strap is applying pressure, and the clasp has been released within a predetermined time after the clasp has been inserted. The controller initiates communication with the external communication apparatus. Upon receiving a log successful communication from the external communication apparatus, the controller alerts the user that the logging was successful or compliance has been met.

The present invention will provide an endoscopic biomaterial applicator used during laparoscopic surgical procedures that utilizes pressurized gas to facilitate the spray application of a biomaterial while safely and automatically venting the additional volume of gas introduced into the abdominal cavity by endoscopic biomaterial applicator. This is accomplished utilizing a manifold, a plurality of channels, an elongated housing, a spray tip, a cannula gasket, and a gas release valve.

Method and apparatus for a self-venting endoscopic biomaterial applicator

A portable, non-motorized automatic lift and transport apparatus allows users to lift and transport a small, powered vehicle with minimal physical exertion and without the need for secondary power source. The apparatus is comprised of a base and platform connected to a gear housing. The gear housing telescopically engages and moves vertically within a vehicle mount via a gear system. The drive wheels of the small, powered vehicle to be transported power the gear system attached to the gear housing to rotate the gear system and subsequently lift the to-be-transported vehicle using its own power source. A storage position is provided that can be used without disengaging a transmission.

This specification discloses a communication device used by a patron to gain the attention of a host in the food service industry. A clip is used to clip onto a conventional checkholder (not shown) . Adhered to the clip is a platform which acts as a base. On one end of the platform will be a release latch spring and release latch button working in conjunction with a disc rotate pin and a disc rotate spring which will enable the proper oscillation of the disc. The disc will rotate from a parallel position to the platform when closed to a vertical position to the platform when opened. The rotation of this disc will notify the host from a distance that the patron is in need of service. Once the patron has been accommodated the host can return the disc to its normally closed position which is parallel to the platform. The disc will stay in its normally closed position by way of a machined coupling device that will lock into the release latch spring, release latch button, and machined multi-ported cavity until needed again.
