A method and system are provided for the transfer and/or aggregation of data and, in particular, integrating data used in managing a professional services practice. The invention preferably transfers and/or aggregates data relating to the identity of clients and matters for whom professional services are being rendered with data relating to the work which data may be maintained in inconsistent, proprietary formats, comprising one or more of the following types of information: accounting; budgeting; docketing; time and billing: work product; word processing; records; project management; and/or other information relating to the professional services. The system of the present invention preferably comprises data storage and data processing means adapted to use the data in substantially portable and/or application-independent format, and/or and transfer or aggregate data between common, and/or proprietary data formats.

A method and system are provided for the transfer and/or aggregation of data and, in particular, integrating data used in managing a professional services practice. A kit for dispensing a viscous fluid from a container comprising: a nozzle for coupling to an outlet of the container defining a nozzle opening for dispensing the viscous fluid from the container, the nozzle including applicator engaging structure; and an applicator including a working area and nozzle engaging structure releasably engageable with the applicator engaging structure of the nozzle to releasably secure the applicator to the nozzle. The applicator further including a working area for spreading the viscous fluid dispensed by the nozzle. The kit also including another applicator and the nozzle may be selectively engageable with either of the two applicators. The applicators may be in the form of a spatula applicator and a brush applicator or may be in any other suitable form.

A software application, system of using the application, and distributed computer network comprising the application, are provided for managing professional services projects. Professional services practices typically employ distributed proprietary applications which complicate the ready transfer of data between and among applications. The database of the present invention is preferably built on an ODBC-compliant platform, such as Lotus Notes, and operates in conjunction with an SQL and Cold Fusion servers. Data is secured from other applications by the SQL and/or the Cold Fusion servers, depending on the format in which the data is maintained in the other applications, and supplied to an ODBC-compliant database, from which the data is accessible by the user.

A portable lap desk and activity station is provided for use by a small child, middle aged children and even adults. The lap desk includes a front side wall, a rear side wall and edge walls extending therebetween which define a main compartment. The front side wall is substantially planar and rigid for use as a work or writing surface by the child. The rear side wall is flexible and padded for comfortably resting on the lap of a child.

An adjustable seat or back cushion to provide comfort and support for a sitting individual has an outer fabric cover with a front panel and a back panel forming an enclosure. The cover has a zippered opening which provides selected access to the enclosure. At least one support pad formed from compressible material with a first predetermined configuration and a first ILD is designed to be inserted through the opening and selectively located in the enclosure adjacent the front panel. A plurality of other support pads also formed of compressible material having at least one other predetermined configuration and ILD different than the configuration and ILD of the first support pad can be inserted through the opening and selectively located between the first support pad and the rear panel. The support pads are located in adjacent, surface-to-surface contact to create a tiered structure within the cushion. The support pads can be arranged and/or rearranged one in front of the other within the cushion to provide a cushion which can be personalized to the particular comfort and support needs of the individual.

A wheel assembly designed to be adhesively attached to an article. The assembly includes a mounting plate having an upper surface with an adhesive layer and a peel-away protective cover. The cover is designed to be removed to reveal the underlying adhesive layer. The mounting plate further includes a center portion and side portions which are pivotal relative to each other to enable the mounting plate to be adhesively attached to adjacent surfaces of the article. A pair of legs are formed in one piece with the mounting plate and extend away from the bottom surface. Each of the legs has a front edge and a rear edge. The front and rear edges of the legs are inwardly offset from the front and rear edges of the mounting plate to prevent the mounting plate from separating from the article. The pair of legs and the bottom surface of the mounting plate between the legs define a wheel channel. A relatively rigid insert is located within and conforms substantially to the wheel channel. A wheel is rotatably supported on an axle at least partially within the channel to provide support and mobility for the article.
