The invention relates to a rail vehicle () having a machine frame () supported on on-track undercarriages (), on both sides of which are arranged&#x2014;in the longitudinal direction () of the rail vehicle&#x2014;crane rails () for a mobile gantry crane (). In this, for lifting or lowering of the gantry crane (), a crane rail section () of the respective crane rail () is arranged to be vertically adjustable by a drive (). In this manner, contrary to the prior art, a higher gantry crane () can be used without violating a given clearance profile during transfer travel.

A transport vehicle includes a container for receiving bulk material which is disposed on a vehicle frame and is pivoted, together with a bottom conveyor belt and a third conveyor belt, relative to the vehicle frame about a pivot axis extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle in order to maintain a horizontal conveying plane, relative to a transverse direction of the vehicle, for the bottom conveyor belt and the third conveyor belt, independently of a transverse inclination of the track. Thus, a problem-free bulk material transport is possible even in the event of a transverse inclination of the track. A method of loading and unloading a transport vehicle which is mobile on a track is also provided.

Method and transport vehicle for loading and unloading

A method for renewal of a track includes picking up a plurality of old track panels using a crane jib projecting over the track from a train end of a work train and depositing the old track panels on the work train, thus creating a renewal gap delimited by a gap beginning and a gap end. New ballast is introduced with the aid of the crane jib into the gap end of the renewal gap. Subsequently, a new track panel pre-deposited on the work train is placed by the crane jib on the graded ballast of the gap end. A work train for renewal of a track is also provided.

Method for renewal of a track

A loading train () consists of at least two loading wagons () for transporting and storing bulk material, each having a wagon frame () supported on on-track undercarriages (), a storage box () with a bottom conveyor belt () which is situated in the bottom region of the storage box and extends in the longitudinal direction () of the wagon, and a pivotable transfer conveyor belt () adjoining the bottom conveyor belt () and projecting beyond the wagon frame (). A tilt protection device () is provided between the front-most, first loading wagon ()&#x2014;with regard to a transport direction () of the bottom conveyor belt ()&#x2014;and the following, second loading wagon (). The tilt protection device () is designed for contacting the rearward wagon frame end of the first loading wagon () in order to block an upward movement of the wagon frame ().

A cleaning vehicle () for cleaning ballast () of a track () with a rail vehicle () has a screening installation () provided for the ballast cleaning. A gantry crane () mobile on the rail vehicle () via crane rails () in a longitudinal direction () of the vehicle is provided for the transport of the ballast () stored in containers (). Forming a discharge station () for discharging the soiled ballast (), a receiving end () of a first conveyor belt () is provided, the latter having a discharge end () positioned above the screening installation (). Forming a loading station () for discharging the cleaned ballast () into an empty container (), a discharge end () of a second conveyor belt () is provided, the receiving end () of which is associated with an outlet opening () of the screening installation ().
