An industrial materials handling vehicle including a vehicle body supported by steer wheel and wheel assemblies, a bumper coupled to the body, and a sensor accommodating bumper mount mounted to the vehicle body and/or bumper, the body and the bumper cooperatively defining a steer wheel access opening. The sensor accommodating bumper mount comprises a bumper mount housing with complementary steer wheel access opening, a sensor assembly mount removably mounted to the bumper and/or bumper mount housing, and a sensor assembly mounted to the sensor assembly mount. The sensor assembly and mount at least partially obstruct the steer wheel access opening and complementary steer wheel access opening when the sensor assembly mount is mounted to the bumper and/or bumper mount housing, providing at least partial access to the steer wheel assembly through the steer wheel access opening and the complementary steer wheel access opening when the sensor assembly mount is unmounted.

Industrial materials handling vehicle comprising a sensor accommodating bumper mount

A layover bracket system is provided for supporting an industrial vehicle in a horizontal position on a floor surface. The layover bracket system includes a base section removably attached to a first portion of the vehicle at a first location, and an extension section removably attached to a second portion of the vehicle at a second location spaced apart in a first direction from the first location. The first direction is parallel to a vertical axis of the vehicle when positioned in an upright position. The extension section is pivotably coupled to the base section.

Layover bracket system

A carriage assembly is provided, which is adapted to be movably coupled to a mast assembly of a materials handling vehicle. The carriage assembly comprises a lifting carriage comprising a lifting carriage upper member including structure for laterally shifting a fork carriage. The fork carriage is mounted on the lifting carriage upper member and comprises fork carriage upper and lower members and fork carriage first and second side members, wherein the upper and lower members are coupled to the fork carriage first and second side members. The upper member comprises a fork-supporting bar having an outer fork-receiving hook and a reinforcement bar mounted to a first side of the fork-supporting bar opposite a second side near the fork-receiving hook.

Carriage assembly for materials handling vehicle and method for making same

A method is provided for manufacturing a fork carriage comprising: providing a fork-supporting bar having first and second fork-receiving hooks, wherein the second hook is of a larger size than the first hook; based on a size of one or more forks desired to be mounted on the fork-supporting bar, positioning the bar such that one of the first and second fork-receiving hooks corresponding to the size of the one or more forks is located outwardly to receive the one or more forks on the one fork-receiving hook; and coupling a reinforcement bar to a side of the fork-supporting bar opposite the side near the one fork-receiving hook. A carriage assembly comprising a fork carriage including an upper member comprising a fork-supporting bar having an outer fork-receiving hook and a reinforcement bar is also provided.
