An insulating track segment for a ground power supply system includes a body made of an electric current insulating material. The insulating track segment constitutes a portion of an insulating track for forming a continuous sliding surface for a pad of a vehicle powered by the ground power supply system.

This support (), as a profile in an electrically insulating material, comprises a substantially planar upper surface (), provided with a longitudinal flute () intended for receiving a track segment, and a longitudinal groove () intended for receiving a low voltage electric power supply cable; and a lower surface () intended to bear upon a base for maintaining the support in the roadway.
