A pump arrangement, particularly a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, includes a containment can with a central longitudinal axis which hermetically seals an enclosed chamber with respect to the inner chamber formed by the pump housing. The containment can has a base with at least one bead extending into the inner chamber. The at least one bead is radially spaced from the central longitudinal axis of the containment shell by at least one defined distance relationship. A method for producing a containment can for a pump arrangement is also provided.

Pump arrangement and method for producing a containment shell for the pump arrangement

A pump arrangement, in particular a magnetic coupling pump arrangement, includes a pump housing having an interior, a split case which hermetically seals a chamber surrounded by the split case from the interior formed by the pump housing, an impeller shaft with an impeller thereon which can be driven in a rotatable manner about a rotational axis, an inner rotor arranged at an end of the impeller shaft opposite the impeller end, an outer rotor which interacts with the inner rotor, and an adapter element which connects the split case to the pump housing or to a component paired with the pump housing, in particular a housing cover. The adapter element includes a mounting flange which rests against a support surface of the pump housing, in particular of the housing cover (), on a face adjacent to the interior.

A pump arrangement, in particular a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, includes a pump housing containing an impeller shaft, a containment shell which seals an enclosed chamber within the inner chamber of the pump housing, an impeller mounted on one end of the impeller shaft, an inner rotor mounted on the other end of the impeller shaft, an outer rotor which is mounted on the drive shaft and co-operates with the inner rotor, and an auxiliary impeller mounted in the chamber adjacent to a domed base of the containment can. The auxiliary impeller is secured to the inner rotor and includes vanes and impeller channels for circulation of media.

Pump arrangement

A pump arrangement, in particular a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, is provided. The pump arrangement includes a pump housing containing an impeller shaft, an impeller, a casing cover adjacent to the impeller and supporting a plain bearing arrangement. The pump arrangement also includes a containment shell which seals an enclosed chamber within the inner chamber of the pump housing. The plain bearing arrangement includes first and second bearing sleeves connected to the impeller shaft, a first bearing bush which cooperates with the first bearing sleeve via a radial bearing surface and is connected to the pump housing or to a component secured to the pump housing a second bearing bush which cooperates with the second bearing sleeve via a radial bearing surface and is connected to the pump housing or to a component secured to the pump housing, and a retainer ring mounted between the first and second bearing sleeves. The retainer ring has, in the end surface facing the first bearing bush a first annular groove which receives a first axial bearing ring, and in the end surface facing the second bearing bush a second annular groove which receives a second axial bearing ring.

Pump arrangement comprising a plain bearing arrangement

A pump arrangement, in particular a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, is provided. The pump arrangement includes a pump housing containing an impeller shaft, a containment shell which seals an enclosed chamber within the inner chamber of the pump housing, an impeller mounted on one end of the impeller shaft, an inner rotor mounted on the other end of the impeller shaft, a drive motor, a drive shaft that can be driven by the drive motor, and an outer rotor which is mounted on the drive shaft and co-operates with the inner rotor. The outer rotor has a hub and a first support element, and a hollow cylindrical portion between the hub and the first support element.
