A method for remote collaboration includes receiving posting content from a first employee of a company. The posting content includes a multitude of key terms. The method further includes generating a first employee posting using the posting content, extracting the multitude of key terms from the posting content, matching one of the plurality of key terms to a key term label, storing the key term label in the first employee posting, and selecting a company channel corresponding to the key terms label. The method further includes identifying a subscriber of the company channel, where the subscriber is a second employee of the company, and presenting the first employee posting content to the subscriber.

Remote contextual collaboration

A method can include commencing a petrotechnical analysis workflow that includes a plurality of tasks; initializing one or more touch modules associated with the workflow; accessing data associated with the workflow; rendering one or more visualizations of the data to a touchscreen; and sensing multiple touches via the touchscreen for controlling one or more actions associated with the workflow according to the one or more touch modules. Multitouch control of petrotechnical software

A method for knowledge capture of exploration and production (E&P) tool sessions, including performing, using an E&P tool configured on a computer system, a first E&P tool session based on a subterranean formation field data set, recording a video capture of a plurality of scenes generated by the E&P tool and displayed during the first E&P tool session, capturing a description associated with a first scene of the plurality of scenes, wherein the first scene is assigned a time stamp corresponding to a specific point in time of a time line of the video capture, tagging the description with the time stamp included in a log of the video capture, and storing the video capture and the log of the video capture, wherein the description is synchronized with the specific point in time of the first scene based on the time stamp.
