System and method for predictive analysis of crowd sourced data for preemptive loss control

Methods for assessing a condition of property for insurance purposes include determining a concentration of a molecular constituent at the insured property. The molecular constituent may be a byproduct or residual product of anthropogenic fire accelerants or anthropogenic sources of ignition or explosion. In some embodiments, the concentration of the molecular constituent at the insured property is determined using spectral imaging technology. Radiative transfer computer models may be used to determine the concentration of the molecular constituent based on spectral images.

System and method for detecting potential property insurance fraud

A data store may contain data describing systems associated with an enterprise. The data store may contain electronic records, each containing a record identifier and a set of record characteristic values, including a service tier goal. A compliance score may be automatically calculated based on an assessment of record characteristic values, the service tier goal, and at least a system availability value, an incident response time value, and an incident restoration time value. A remediation recommendation may be generated, including steps that, when performed, will result in the selected system meeting the service tier goal. An indication representing the remediation recommendation may then be transmitted in connection with an interactive user interface display. According to some embodiments, remediation data is automatically routed to appropriate entities within the enterprise and updates associated with the remediation recommendation are automatically tracked as remediation steps are performed in connection with the selected system.

A system and method for assessing a condition of property for insurance purposes includes a sensor for acquiring a spectral image. In a preferred embodiment, the spectral image is post-processed to generate at least one spectral radiance plot, the plot used as input to a radiative transfer computer model. The output of the model establishes a spectral signature for the property. Over a period of time, spectral signatures can be compared to generate a spectral difference, the spectral difference can be used to determine whether a change in the condition of the property was potentially fraudulently caused.
