Dispenser apparatus for dispensing paper toweling includes structure for damping forces applied to a roll of paper toweling when overspin slack is taken up and modifying cutter blade timing to reduce peak pull force during dispensing. A biased damping roller is displaceable by toweling when the toweling is pulled to take up the slack and maintain the toweling in taut condition.

Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material includes a rotatable sheet material engagement member having an outer surface for engaging the sheet material. A pivoted shaft is mounted adjacent to the sheet material engagement member having a feed roller mounted thereon. The shaft and feed roller are pivotally moved toward the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller is rotated to transport the sheet material over the outer surface of the sheet material engagement member. Spaced tucker members are connected to the sheet material engagement member and simultaneously rotate and pivot upon depletion of a primary roll of sheet material to position the lead end of a reserve roll between the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller.

Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material includes a rotatable sheet material engagement member having a smooth outer surface for engaging the sheet material. A pivoted shaft is mounted adjacent to the sheet material engagement member having a feed roller mounted thereon. The shaft and feed roller are moved toward the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller is rotated to transport the sheet material over the smooth outer surface of the sheet material engagement member. A tucker member is attached to the sheet material engagement member and rotates upon depletion of a primary roll of sheet material to position the lead end of a reserve roll between the sheet material engagement member and the feed roller.

Apparatus for dispensing sheet material from a roll of sheet material

A bracket for liquid dispensing containers has a back, a base, and a top projecting laterally from the back for holding the bottom and top, respectively, of the dispensing container. The bracket and top are skewed relative to the plane of the back a sufficient amount that when the bracket is mounted on a vertical surface, the container top is farther away from the mounting surface than is the container bottom to prevent liquid from dripping onto the container or the bracket.

A dispenser for rolled sheet material includes an openable housing having a front opening, a parallel-spaced pair of guide slots being supported proximate opposite sides of the housing, each guide slot having a generally vertically oriented first segment, a generally horizontally oriented second segment intersecting the first segment, and a generally vertically oriented third segment intersecting the second segment in offset relation to the first segment, the first segment having a bottom extremity below the second segment. A dual mandrel of the dispenser has a parallel-spaced pair of mandrel portions for receiving respective rolls, and a bridge portion rigidly connecting the mandrel portions. The dual mandrel, when loaded with the rolls, is locatable with opposite ends of each mandrel portion guidable within respective ones of the guide slots: from a first position wherein a lowermost of the mandrel portions is in a first dispensing position at the bottom extremity of the first segment, the other mandrel portion being in a reserve position within the first segment; and, following substantial consumption of the sheet material from the lowermost mandrel, to a second position wherein the lowermost of the mandrel portions is in an expended position at a bottom extremity of the third segment of the guide slot, and the other mandrel portion is in a second dispensing position within the first segment. A holder member is biasingly coupled to the housing for retaining the lowermost of the mandrel portions in the expended position.

Dispenser for feeding sheet material from sequential rolls

This invention provides a transparent plastic business card holder 10 that can be converted to a desktop display case. There is provided a base member 16 having a back wall 18 and top, left and side walls 20, 22 and 24, respectively, to partially form a framed enclosure for the back wall 18. A front wall 26 equipped with a trough assembly 40 extends laterally across the face of the front wall 26 between the left and right side walls 42 and 44, respectively, of the trough assembly. The front wall member is hinged to the base member so that the base member can be rotated three-fourths of a full circle to expose the trough assembly 40 outside the base member to display the card members 12. In the closed position the front wall member 26 is latched to the back wall 18 by means of a latched device 14. The trough assembly is equipped with a lip member 54 that is slidably replaceable and on which may be imprinted informational indicia.

A catch member is biasingly coupled to the housing for retaining the lowermost of the mandrel portions in the expended position.

Bracket

Apparatus for sequentially dispensing web material from a plurality of rolls of the webbed material. The apparatus includes a support having a housing with an opening. A roll holder is rotatably mounted on the support. The roll holder includes at least three spaced roll support shafts which are inserted into rolls. The roll holder and rolls are maintained in an unbalanced condition to sequentially present the rolls at a dispensing position under the influence of gravity.

System for sequentially dispensing web material from a plurality of rolls

A paper towel dispenser cabinet including a rigid, metallic bottom plate of unitary construction connected to walls of the dispenser. The bottom plate improves the structural integrity of the dispenser cabinet and operates as a heat sink in the event paper toweling passing through an aperture in the bottom plate is ignited so that flame is extinguished before damaging the housing interior.
