A nipple abrasion protector consists of a generally disc-shaped translucent polymeric adhesive film with adhesively affixed to one side of a release paper. The protector is removed from the paper and applied to the nipple to prevent chafing from contact with a shirt or other garment during extended physical activities like running and is semi-transparent or translucent and not readily detectable during activities like swimming or surfing. In addition, the protector is perforated with pores for breathablilty and has a cross-hatched surface texture to improve adhesion and flexibility. Moreover, the removable nipple protector adheres tightly to the areola and is capable of resisting protrusion of the nipple. The protector is free from materials such as latex which may incite an allergic reaction.

Disclosed are methods and systems for vaporization of liquefied natural gas (LNG) that employ a condensing gas stream to adjust the gross heating value (GHV) of the LNG such that, upon vaporization, a natural gas product is obtained that meets pipeline or other commercial specifications. The condensing gas can be air, nitrogen, or in embodiments, NGLs such as ethane, propane, or butane, or other combustible hydrocarbon such as dimethyl ether (DME) depending on a desired change in GHV. In some embodiments, the methods and systems employ an integrated air separation plant for generation of nitrogen used as a condensing gas, wherein a cool stream of a heat transfer medium, such as water, ethylene glycol, other common heat transfer fluids, or mixtures thereof, obtained by heat transfer during vaporization of the LNG is used to pre-cool an air feed to the air separation plant, or to cool other process streams associated therewith.

Disclosed are methods for efficiently and economically designing, constructing, or operating a light hydrocarbon gas liquefaction process for the liquefaction of selected quantities of light hydrocarbon gas. The methods employ shared use facilities, such as light hydrocarbon feed gas pretreatment facilities, refrigerant compression facilities, cryogenic heat exchange facilities, access services, other liquefaction equipment, and liquefied product storage and shipping facilities. The use of such shared use facilities allows for subsequent expansion phases or modules to be constructed to increase overall plant capacity, which can reduce the capital costs and space needed relative to prior methods for the design, construction, or operation of a light hydrocarbon liquefaction process which call for construction of a complete liquefaction train and all of its associated components and related equipment.
