Medical devices as well as methods for making and using medical devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a steerable crossing catheter system. The steerable crossing catheter system may include an elongate catheter shaft having a proximal end region, a steerable distal end region, and a lumen extending therethrough. A core may be disposed within the lumen. The core may have a distal end. A penetrating member may be coupled to the distal end. A sensing assembly may be disposed adjacent to the distal end. The sensing assembly may be configured to estimate the location of the core within a body lumen.

Steerable crossing catheter

The present disclosure, in its various aspects, is directed generally to medical devices, and more specifically to catheter accessory devices and related systems and methods. In an embodiment, an instrument accessory device may include a body with an instrument lumen through which an instrument may extend through. An expandable member may be disposed about the distal end of the body. An elongate delivery member may be attached to the body and in communication with the expandable member at a distal end of the delivery member. The delivery member may be configured to slide the instrument lumen of the body and the expandable member along the length of the instrument when extended therethrough. Devices, systems, and methods for a catheter accessory

Delivery systems for liquid embolics and methods of using them are disclosed. The devices generally include a catheter and one or more retention elements to limit migration of the liquid embolic to non-target sites.

Systems and methods for delivery of gel embolics

Medical devices for sympathetic nerve modulation are disclosed. An example medical device for sympathetic nerve modulation may include a catheter shaft having a distal region. An expandable member may be coupled to the distal region. A flexible circuit assembly may be attached to the expandable member. The flexible circuit assembly may include a first electrode strip, a second electrode strip, and a sensor strip disposed between the first electrode strip and the second electrode strip. The first electrode strip may include a first electrode. The second electrode strip may include a second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode may define a pair of bipolar electrodes.

Medical devices and methods for making and using medical devices are disclosed. An example medical device may include a catheter shaft. An expandable member may be coupled to the catheter shaft. The expandable member may be capable of shifting between a folded configuration and an expanded configuration. A plurality of flexible elements may be attached to the expandable member, with a plurality of electrode assemblies disposed on the flexible elements. The flexible elements may have a grooved substrate.

An implant for occluding a left atrial appendage may include an expandable framework including a body portion and a disk portion, wherein the expandable framework is configured to shift between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, and an occlusive disk element disposed within the disk portion. An illustrative system may include an intravascular nerve modulation system including a catheter shaft, an expandable basket and one or more electrode assemblies affixed to the expandable basket. A medical device for sympathetic nerve ablation may include a catheter shaft, an expandable member disposed on or coupled to the catheter shaft, and a plurality of elongate electrode assemblies each constructed as a flexible circuit having a plurality of layers. The expandable member may be configured to shift between an unexpanded configuration and an expanded configuration. The plurality of electrode assemblies may be disposed on an outer surface of the expandable member. In some aspects, the present disclosure pertains to self-expanding emboli-capturing centering devices for centering a medical instrument in a conduit within a patient. The centering devices comprise (a) an elongate shaft, (b) a self-expanding centering member having an open distal end and an inner surface forming a central lumen with a flared distal portion, the centering member being configured such that a fluid flowing in a distal-to-proximal direction that is received by the open distal end flows proximally along the flared distal portion of the central lumen before exiting the central lumen through one or more openings in a proximal portion of the centering member, and (c) a filter material configured to filter the fluid received by the open distal end of the centering member. Other aspects of the present disclosure pertain to systems and methods employing such centering devices.
