The invention relates to a device for guiding a sliding window () in a door () of a motor vehicle, which comprises a guide rail () and at least one guide runner () secured to the inner face of said sliding window (), said guide rail () being provided with a cylindrical longitudinal cavity (), said guide runner () comprising at least one guide head () fitted in said cavity ().
