A device for attaching a bracelet or strap to a watch case includes a bar secured to the watch case by at least one horn and an insert integral with the end of the bracelet. The bar and the insert are complementary in order to cooperate by fitting one inside the other to form a removable assembly to make the bracelet interchangeable. The bar is formed by a cylindrical arbor having at least one flat portion. The flat portion cooperates by fitting with a housing made in the insert. The housing has a substantially rectangular opening for receiving the flat portion. The bar includes a control member for pivoting the bar from a first position A, in which the insert is positioned on the arbor, to a second position B, in which the insert is locked onto the bar.

The hammer () forms part of a striking mechanism () of a mechanical watch, which includes at least one gong () that can be struck by said hammer. The hammer includes two metal parts (&#x2033;), which are secured to each other by welding or soldering. A first part is made of hard metal to form an impact part (') of the hammer against a gong () of the striking mechanism. A second part is a metal heel (&#x2033;), particularly made of steel, via which the hammer can be mounted on a plate of the striking mechanism.

These mobile elements are capable of contacting the periphery of the balance () of the tourbillon, to block said balance when action is exerted on at least one of said mobile elements by a shoe () arranged outside the carriage () and controlled by the time-setting stem () of the watch. The outer edges () of the levers are located above pillars () of the carriage (), such that the shoe () can act on the levers without interfering with said pillars.
