The invention relates to a compressor for inducting an internal combustion engine, comprising an electric motor () for driving a first compressor wheel (), wherein, in at least one operating state, an inlet-side, first gas flow () of the internal combustion engine () is compressed by the compressor (), wherein the compressor () comprises a first compressor path () for the first gas flow () and a second compressor path () for a second gas flow (), wherein the second gas flow (), in particular, in at least one operating state, opens into an exhaust gas flow () of the internal combustion engine () as a secondary air flow ().

Turbocharger for an internal combustion engine

A compressor with a compressor housing in which a compressor wheel is arranged. The compressor additionally includes a cartridge which is arranged in the compressor housing in the area of a compressor inlet. The cartridge is designed to variably change the cross section of the compressor inlet.

Supercharger device

An exhaust-driven turbocharger for a motor vehicle includes at least one of a variable turbine and a compressor geometry, a vane-mounting ring with guide vanes mounted rotatably thereon and a guide vane cage. The guide vane cage forms at least part of a flow duct and at the same time a mount for the vane-mounting ring. The guide vane cage is supported by spacer elements while creating an axial gap on a housing of the exhaust-driven turbocharger such that hot gas selectively flows behind the guide vane cage. Also, the guide vane cage is clamped between the turbine housing and the mounting housing of the exhaust-driven turbocharger without fixedly connecting the guide vane cage to either one of the two housings.

An exhaust-driven turbocharger for a motor vehicle may include a bearing housing and a turbine housing, which are mounted in the bearing house by means of a common shaft. A guide vane cage surrounds the turbine wheel. The guide vane cage may have at least two arms. The arms may be used to help secure the guide vane cage between the bearing housing and the turbine housing such that it can move in the radial direction.

A turbocharger device for an internal combustion engine including two exhaust gas turbochargers, wherein a regulating device for adjustment of the supply of exhaust gas to one of the turbines or to both turbines is provided in the flow stream of the exhaust gas. A common exhaust gas inflow channel for both turbines is preferably provided on the turbine housing of one of the exhaust gas turbochargers, with two exhaust channel segments for supplying exhaust gas to the respective turbines branching off from the exhaust gas inflow channel. The regulating device is provided where the exhaust gas channel segments branch from the exhaust gas inflow channel on the turbine housing.
