A bio-processing system () is presented. The bio-processing system () includes one or more bio-processing units (-), one or more process supporting devices (), one or more sensors (-), and a bio-processing workflow controller () wirelessly coupled to at least one of the one or more bio-processing units (-), the one or more process supporting devices (), and the one or more sensors (-). The bio-processing workflow controller () includes a processor () configured to create a reconfigurable bio-processing workflow, and where the reconfigurable bio-processing workflow is representative of an arrangement of one or more of the one or more bio-processing units (-), the one or more process supporting devices (), and the one or more sensors (-) to perform at least one bio-processing operation.

The present invention relates to a bioreactor including at least one reactor vessel in form of a plastic bag, a tray () for holding said at least one bag, a rocking device for limited rocking motions of the tray () around a rocking axis (). According to the invention the bioreactor comprises a device () for enabling swinging of the tray () around a second axis () parallel to and distanced from the rocking axis ().

The invention discloses a condenser for a bioreactor exhaust, comprising: an inlet () adapted to be fluidically connected to a bioreactor exhaust port (), a cooling chamber () fluidically connected to the inlet and via a filter device () to an outlet (), a cooling conduit () in contact with the cooling chamber, a heating conduit () in contact with the filter device and a vortex tube () arranged to convey a cold gas stream through the cooling conduit and to convey a hot gas stream through the heating conduit.

High accuracy mixing of fluids in a disposable fluid processing system with at least two pumps is provided by a method where a calibration fluid volume is pumped through each pump via a flow meter at at least one calibration pump speed while registering the flow rate using data output from the flow meter, a pump calibration function is calculated from the calibration pump speed and flow rate data and two or more operation fluids are mixed to a predetermined mixture ratio and predetermined flow rate by controlling the pump speed of the respective pumps in accordance with the pump calibration functions.

Disclosed herein is a system and method for condensing moisture in a moist gas stream entering a bioreactor or leaving a bioreactor, the system comprising: a condenser container capable of holding a fluid, the condenser container comprising: an outer wall surface and an inner wall surface, the inner wall surface defining an interior chamber for holding the fluid; and a first fitment attached to the outer wall surface of the condenser container, the first fitment forming a first port configured to allow the moist gas stream to flow through the first port and into the interior chamber; a second fitment attached to the outer wall surface of the condenser container, the second fitment forming a second port configured to allow a dried gas to flow from the interior chamber and out of the second port; and a cooling device in contact with at least one portion of the outer wall surface of the condenser container and arranged to cool the at least one portion of the outer wall surface of the condenser container, thereby to condense moisture in the moist gas stream and forming a dry gas stream for entering or leaving the bioreactor.

The present invention relates to a bioreactor and a method for operating a bioreactor which comprises a chamber () capable of receiving a liquid media, and a filter assembly () comprising a perfusion filter (). The filter assembly () is disposed in the chamber () and the filter assembly () is free to move within the chamber (). The filter assembly () comprises means for coupling a harvesting flow through said filter () and means for coupling a feed flow through said filter in an opposite direction compared to the harvesting flow. Through this arrangement, the clogging prevention of the perfusion filter can be improved.
