A bearing unit includes a radially outer ring, a radially inner ring, and a sealing device. The inner ring includes a first radially outer surface formed, a second radially outer surface adjacent to the first, and a radial step connecting the radially outer surfaces. The sealing device includes a shaped shield mounted on the outer ring and an elastomer lining the shaped shield. The elastomer lining includes at least three radial contacting lips. A first, axially outer most radial contacting lip is in sliding contact with the first radially outer surface of the inner ring, a second, axially inner most radial contacting lip is in sliding contact with the second radially outer surface of the inner ring, and a third radial contacting lip positioned between the first and second radial contacting lips and in sliding contact with the second radially outer surface of the inner ring.

Bearing unit for rotary shafts

A bearing unit () has a radially outer ring (), a radially inner ring (), an eccentric locking collar (), a row of rolling bodies (), and a sealing device (). The sealing device () is arranged on the same side as the locking collar () and is interposed between the radially inner ring (), the radially outer ring () and the locking collar (). The sealing device () includes a metal shield () stably connected to the radially outer ring (), and an elastomeric component () co-molded on the shield () in a radially inward direction. The elastomeric component () has a plurality of lips, of which at least one lip () is in contact with the locking collar ().

Bearing unit

A bearing unit comprising rolling elements, housed in a radially inner mounting seat of a casing. The bearing unit includes a radially outer and stationary coated ring provided with a metal ring and a liner of elastomeric material integral with a radially outer surface of the metal ring, a radially inner ring, which is rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X), and a row of rolling elements interposed between the coated ring and the radially inner ring. The elastomeric material of the liner is a vulcanized thermoplastic material. The liner is co-molded onto the radially outer surface of the metal ring and may include a cylindrical body and at least two annular protuberances which fit inside corresponding anchoring grooves formed on the surface of the metal ring.

Bearing unit with rolling elements

A support assembly for a moveable, rotating, or sliding shaft includes a casing and a cover. The casing includes a front edge defining an opening and a radially external lateral surface having an annular seat. The annular seat includes an annular groove axially spaced from the front edge and connected to a number of axial grooves that interrupt at least part of the front edge. The cover includes an annular coupling portion extending toward the radially external lateral surface of the casing. The annular coupling includes at least one pair of teeth formed on a radially inside surface of the annular coupling portion and projecting radially inward, each pair of teeth spaced circumferentially from each other, and a plurality of radially internal projections. A bottom wall of the annular groove includes a plurality of depressions alternating with a plurality of projections.

Support assembly for food applications having an improved seal

A bearing unit with rolling bodies for use in the food and beverage industry, for example. The bearing unit may have a high resistance to wear and to corrosion and may have a radially outer ring, stationary, a radially inner ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X), and a sealing and protection device mounted on the radially inner ring and on opposite sides of the radially outer ring, both to protect the radially outer ring from the action of external contaminants and to prevent any such external contaminants from getting into a gap between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. The bearing unit may further have protective layer being arranged in contact with the radially inner ring, and being made of composite polymeric material to isolate and protect the radially inner ring from external contaminants.

Bearing unit with rolling bodies for use in the food and beverage industry

A bearing unit for a marble cutting machine has a radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X) and is provided with a radially outer flange portion. Additionally, the bearing unit is provided with a stationary radially inner ring with a through hole in which the ratio between a dimension of an internal diameter (D) of the through hole and a dimension of the axial thickness (T) of the radially inner ring is between about 6.7 and about 11.1. A row of rolling bodies is interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. A sealing shield is made of composite material and interposed between the radially inner ring and the radially outer ring, rotatable with respect to the rotation axis (X) and steadily anchored to the radially outer ring. The shield is provided with a sensor molded in it.

A bearing unit may have a radially outer ring, a radially inner ring, a row of rolling bodies interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring, a casing inside which the rings of the bearing unit are housed. The bearing unit may further have a sealing device and a disc-like element for protecting the sealing device, made as one piece, entirely of plastic or composite material, axially external with respect to the sealing device, stably anchored in a seat of the casing and having a radial distance (d2) between a radially internal surface of the disc-like element and the radially inner ring ranging between 0.75 mm and 0.95 mm so as to block large-size external contaminants, without making contact with the radially inner ring.

A sealing device for a sleeve of washing machines, comprising a first, stationary, annular screen, and a second, rotatable, annular screen. The first annular screen includes a first cylindrical mounting portion and a first flange portion; and the second annular screen includes a second cylindrical mounting portion and a second flange portion. The sealing device is characterized in that both the first and the second annular screens include the same number of non-contacting sealing lips, which are similar to each other and contained axially between the first and second flange portions, in radially alternating positions axially arranged one above the other, so as to define a sealing labyrinth (L). The first and second annular screens define between them a discharge chamber (C) and an obstruction chamber (C) which are arranged along the sealing labyrinth (L), substantially at opposite ends of the said sealing labyrinth (L).

A bearing unit comprising a stationary radially outer ring with a spherical radially outer surface with a convex shape; a radially inner ring that is rotary about a central rotation axis of the bearing unit and is mounted on a rotating or oscillating shaft in which a diametrical through-hole formed in a first cylindrical portion is used to receive an elastic element for locking the radially inner ring on the shaft; a plurality of rolling bodies interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring to enable the relative rotation of the two rings; and at least one element for locking the radially inner ring on the shaft in which a pair of threaded through-holes formed in either the first cylindrical portion or the second cylindrical portion of the radially inner ring is used to receive respective grub screws for locking the radially inner ring on the shaft.

Bearing unit for windrowers

A bearing unit comprising a stationary radially outer ring with a spherical radially outer surface with a convex shape, a radially inner ring that is rotary about a central rotation axis (X) of the bearing unit and is mounted on a rotating or oscillating shaft. A diametrical through-hole is formed in a first cylindrical portion that is used to receive an elastic element for locking the radially inner ring on the shaft, a plurality of rolling bodies interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring to enable the relative rotation of the two rings, and a locking element locking the radially inner ring on the shaft. The radially inner ring is provided with two threaded through-holes from opposite sides with respect to the radially outer ring and to the rolling bodies, for housing respective grub screws for locking the radially inner ring on the shaft.

Thermal analysis of a bearing unit, carried out by entering the input and boundary conditions of the application, defining contact areas and load distribution between components of the bearing unit, calculating the conduction resistances and the thermal convection of the components, calculating the heat generated by friction between the components in contact and the heat distribution thereof on a plurality of isothermal nodes which discretize the bearing unit, defining a thermal interaction between the isothermal nodes, thermally balancing the isothermal nodes, calculating the temperature range of the bearing unit, comparing the resulting operating temperature on an isothermal node of a sealing means of the bearing unit and the related maximum allowable temperature, and if the operating temperature and maximum allowable temperature values are different from each other, repeat steps (a) to step (h).

Method of thermal analysis of a bearing unit

A support assembly for a movable shaft includes a bearing unit that receives the shaft, a casing, and a cover. The cover includes an annular coupling portion extending towards a radially external lateral surface of the casing. The annular coupling portion has circumferentially spaced teeth projecting from a radially inside surface thereof. The lateral surface includes an annular seat that receives the teeth. The annular seat includes an annular groove axially spaced with respect to a front edge of the casing that defines an opening of the casing and is connected to axial grooves that interrupt radially at least part of the front edge of the casing. A bottom wall of the annular groove has depressions alternating with projections offset with the axial grooves. The annular coupling portion includes radially internal projections that engage with the lateral surface of the casing along portions free of axial grooves.

A support assembly for movable, rotating or sliding shafts, having a bearing unit having an inner ring, an outer ring, and a row of rolling bodies interposed between the inner and outer rings, a casing, a cover for fluid sealing an opening of an internal seat of the casing, a rear sealing device on a side opposite the cover having a metal screen and a vulcanized rubber liner equipped with an axially outer first sealing lip and with an axially inner second sealing lip, an axially inner sealing device, having a first shield provided with a vulcanized rubber liner having a plurality of sealing lips, the outer ring having a step extending axially inward and provided with a second shield having a vulcanized rubber liner with a plurality of sealing lips.

Support assembly for food applications having an improved inner seal

A housing element for food applications having a casing made of metallic material and a cover made of composite material and having a bottom surface which is closed or provided with a through-hole. The housing element is provided with a system for securing the cover on the casing, comprising at least two steps which are formed on the cover and which engage with interference inside at least two corresponding grooves formed on the casing.
