A support assembly () for supporting the furnace () of a boiler () to a support frame () of the boiler. The support assembly comprises a first and second assembly parts (). The first assembly part () attaches a pipe (), f.ex. a downcomer, to a supporting beam (). The second assembly part () attaches the same pipe () to another supporting beam (). The support assembly () may be obliquely positioned. Alternatively, the support frame further comprises an oblique, connecting supporting beam () that connects the first and second assembly parts. In this case, the first and second assembly parts attach the pipe to the connecting supporting beam (). The first and second assembly parts define first and second points of support () that transmit loads. The first or second assembly part may be a hanger rod. A boiler plant comprises the above-mentioned boiler, support frame for the boiler and support assembly.

Support assembly for a boiler

A pyrolysis apparatus comprises a furnace () operating by fluidized bed combustion, a pyrolyzer () and flow paths, which connect the furnace () and the pyrolyzer () for arranging the circulation (C) of carrier material of the fluidized bed combustion between the furnace and the pyrolyzer .The apparatus also comprises a supply inlet () for supplying fuel to be pyrolyzed to the pyrolyzer (), fluidizing gas supply means () arranged in the pyrolyzer for fluidizing the mixture of carrier material and fuel, and an outlet () for taking condensible gaseous substances separated from the fuel to be pyrolyzed out of the pyrolyzer (), and a condenser for condensing the condensible gaseous substances. The carrier material circulation is arranged at the furnace () by a cocurrent principle along the flow path of hot flue gases, which comprises a separator () located higher than the pyrolyzer (), which separator is arranged to separate carrier material from flue gases, while the circulation also comprises a connecting conduit () between the separator () and the pyrolyzer () for moving the carrier material by gravity to the pyrolyzer (), and a return path () between the pyrolyzer () and the furnace () for returning the carrier material to the furnace (). The outlet () is arranged in the chamber formed by the pyrolyzer () in its upper part in a space above the fluidized mixture of carrier material and fuel in order to remove the condensible gaseous substances from the pyrolyzer.

Pyrolysis method in connection with a boiler and a pyrolysis apparatus

The invention relates to a combustion unit, which for effecting a circulating mass process comprises a reactor chamber, whose lower part is, for formation of a fluidized bed, fitted with a grate structure (10), at least one particle separator with means for purifying the combustion gas containing solid material, formed in the fluidized bed, from said solid material, and a return duct (6a) for returning the solid material particularly to the fluidized bed. A gas lock structure (KL) as an extension of the return duct (6a) prevents the gas flow to the opposite direction and comprises a combination formed by a closed bottom structure (14), a cover structure (11) placed above the bottom structure (14) and having openings (12a), an interspace (13) formed between the bottom structure (14) and the cover structure (11), and openings (15a) placed in the wall of the return duct (6a) between the bottom structure (14) and the cover structure (11), as seen in vertical direction, and connected with the interspace ( 13). The solid material moves from the return duct (6a) through the openings (12a) of the cover structure (11) to the interspace (13) and exits from the interspace (13) to the fluidized bed above the grate structure (10) through the openings (15a) of the return duct (6a).
