Battery and battery charger

A fastener driving tool for fixation of parts by way of nails or staple propelled by a driving piston under the effect of the combustion of one or more fluids. More specifically, a device of controlling the relative proportions of the fluids used for combustion including a combustion chamber having a first inlet port for inputting a first fluid having at least one variable fluid characteristic, and a second inlet port for inputting a second fluid. A first actuator is operably coupled to said first inlet port, adapted to switch between a first open state, allowing said first fluid to move into said combustion chamber at a first mass flow rate that is dependent on said at least one variable fluid characteristic, and a first closed state, preventing or at least limiting said first fluid from moving into said combustion chamber. A second actuator is operably coupled to said second inlet port, adapted to switch between a second open state, allowing said second fluid to move into said combustion chamber at a second mass flow rate, and a second closed state, preventing said second fluid from moving into said combustion chamber. A controller is configured to operate any one of said first and second actuators and to control a time interval of said first open state and/or said second open state based on at least one predetermined parameter, so as to provide a predetermined mass ratio of said first and second fluid within said combustion chamber.

Fastener driving tool

The present disclosure concerns a method and an electronic ignition control device of a combustion chamber of a gas-powered fixing tool designed to optimize the quality of the shooting of fixation elements by the tool. According to the principle of the present disclosure, the triggering of the ignition of the chamber to produce the shot is commanded on the condition that the time between the moment when the user places the tool against a work surface and the moment when he pulls on an actuation trigger of the tool is greater than a predefined delay time, to ensure an optimal filling of the combustion chamber with the combustible gas. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the triggering of the ignition is enabled on the supplemental condition that a signal of medium ignition voltage is greater than a trigger threshold voltage.

Method for controlling the actuation of a gas-powered fixing tool and the corresponding device

This invention relates to controlling a tool for driving fastening elements through firing a fuel. A valve, upon each shot, opens via a current (I) in a component created by a voltage injection control (U). Upon the first one of a series of shots and after the control, the time tis detected of a drop of current in a measuring member upon the transient rise of current and, the opening period Tof the valve being predetermined, the end of the injection control is triggered at the time t, after a period T, following the time t, reduced with a period T, of a first rise of the voltage injection control following the beginning of the drop of current or a rise, following the beginning of its drop, of the current.

Method for controlling an internal combustion engine tool and the thus controlled tool

The system includes, inside the tool, an electronic module for locking/unlocking the tool, in order to block or authorize its use and, inside a control station, a control module for the tool's locking/unlocking module designed to switch it from the locked state (i) to the unlocked state (I). The system applies well to tools for sealing, nailing and other similar applications.

Anti-theft safety system for a portable, manually operated tool, and the adapted tool of the system

The tool includes a cylinder inside of which is slidably mounted a piston for driving a fastening element, as a result of the explosion inside of a combustion chamber of a mixture of gas and air that has been injected therein from a gas cartridge, after which the tool has come to bear weight against a support, the head switch has retracted and the combustion chamber has closed, followed by actuation of the trigger switch for controlling the spark plug. The tool also includes an element for determining the rate of fire which includes a real-time clock designed to cooperate with a microcontroller of an operating and control module. The arrangement applies well to fastening tools.
