The invention relates to a method for the production of a heat-sealable paper that forms a barrier to water vapour, in particular having a water vapour permeability of at most 150 g/m/24 h measured according to ASTM F1249 under so-called tropical conditions of 38&#xb0; C. and 90% relative humidity, in which at least one coating layer comprising at least one thermoplastic film-forming polymer is applied in-line on the paper-making machine to the fibrous substrate.

Method for the production of heat-sealing barrier paper

Filtering medium based on activated carbon which is characterized in that it comprises three superposed layers, respectively an inner layer and two outer layers, the inner layer consisting of 80 to 95% by dry weight of activated carbon, the balance for 100% consisting of organic and/or inorganic chemical fibres, the first outer layer comprising from 45 to 95% by dry weight of organic and/or inorganic chemical fibres, the balance for 100% consisting of activated carbon and/or of a material having a density of less than 0.9, the second outer layer comprising from 5 to 25% by dry weight of activated carbon, the balance for 100% consisting of organic and/or inorganic chemical fibres, and in that the weight of the inner layer is between 40 and 200 g/m2 and the weight of the outer layers is between 10 and 100 g/m2.

A photocatalytic composition includes at least a photocatalyst agent and at least an inorganic binding agent, characterized in that the inorganic binding agent includes an aqueous colloidal silica dioxide (SiO) dispersion, the aqueous colloidal silica dioxide dispersion including particles capable of being bound to one another after coating the photocatalyst agent.
