A tibial component of a knee prosthesis includes a tibial plate and a tibial insert, and anterior and posterior abutments projecting from an upper face of the tibial plate. The anterior abutment extends along at least part of the tibial plate and the posterior abutment extends for at least part of the tibial plate and comprises a part forming a promontory and an anterior cut-out, in particular central, in the form of a window formed in the anterior abutment opening onto the posterior face of the latter opposite the part forming the promontory. The tibial insert has a face upper, a face lower and a lateral face, which has a shape matching the part forming the promontory, characterised in that at least one flexible tab in the form of a hook projects centrally from an anterior face of the insert and locks by snap-fitting, into the anterior cut-out.

A device for a cup to be received in the cotyl of a hip. The device includes an insert, a gripping means for gripping the insert, a rod for imparting shock, and an impaction head having a surface in contact with a portion of the insert. The rod for imparting shock is designed to be held by a surgeon and is used for the application of an impaction shock to the insert when held by the gripping means opposite the cup to be introduced into the cotyl of a hip. The impaction head having a surface in contact with a portion of said insert and the rod are connected to one another so as form a head and rod assembly joined in rotation. The head and rod assembly is mounted pivotably at a pivot point in relation to the gripping means.

Device for inserting an insert (), made in particular of ceramic material, into a cup designed to be received in the cotyl of a hip, characterised in that it comprises: means () for gripping the insert, in particular an upper free edge of the insert; a rod () designed to impinge on the insert when it is held by the gripping means opposite the hollow part of the cup; and means () for imparting a downwards shock to the rod to push the insert into the cup, i.e. introduce it by force to the inside of the cup, said shock imparting means imparting a shock to the rod with a predetermined force.
