A leak detection module for checking a seal of an object to be tested using a tracer gas is provided, including: a leak detector; a manipulatable probe; and a human-machine interface including a voice recognition device configured to recognize a voice command controlling the leak detection module. A method for checking the seal of an object to be tested using a tracer gas is also provided.

A sniffer probe is provided for a leak detector for checking the leak-tightness of gat object to be tested by means of a tracer gas. The sniffer probe includes a sniffer end piece that is configured to be connected to a pumping device of the leak detector, and a handle bearing the sniffer end piece, a capacitive proximity sensor including at least one handling detection electrode that is arranged in a grip portion of the handle, the capacitive proximity sensor being configured to send a handling detection signal that is associated with the at least one handling detection electrode to a processing unit of the leak detector in order to control the suction into the sniffer end piece according to the handling detection signal. A leak detector and a leak detection method for checking the leak-tightness of an object to be tested by means of a tracer gas are also provided.

Sniffer probe, leak detector and leak detection method

There is provided a leak detection device configured to check tightness of an object to be tested by a tracer gas, the device including a sniffing probe configured to be connected to a leak detector and/or a spray blower configured to be connected to a source of the tracer gas; and a glove to which the sniffing probe and/or the spray blower is attached. There is also provided a module for detection of leaks, including the device configured to check the checking the tightness of the object to be tested by the tracer gas.

A leak detection module for checking the seal-tightness of an object to be tested by tracer gas is provided, including a leak detector and a probe configured to be manipulated by a user; and a vision device including a processing and display unit configured to communicate with the leak detector, a securing means configured to secure the vision device on a head of the user, and a viewing surface fixed to the securing means and configured to be placed in a field of view of the user, the processing and display unit being further configured to display, on the viewing surface, information relating to detection of leaks including at least one signal representative of a concentration of tracer gas measured by the leak detector. The invention relates to a device for measuring and processing an input signal (To) of at least two decades, comprising: an electron multiplier () that has an exponential gain on the basis of the power supply voltage (Vm) thereof and which receives said input signal (To); a power supply () that provides the power supply voltage (Vm) of said multiplier (); a control circuit () of the power supply (), the gain () and shift () parameters of which are adjustable and define an output signal range while varying the exponential gain of said multiplier (); a logarithmic compression amplifier (T), the output of which is received as an input of the control circuit () so as to vary the exponential gain of the electron multiplier (), in a continuous manner over the dynamic range of a measurement, on the basis of the output signal (IoG) of the electron multiplier (), and forming the output signal (Vout) of said device; a measuring and calculating means for predetermining the value of the exponent (b) for the exponential gain of the electron multiplier () and for calculating the gain () and shift () parameter values of said control circuit () on the basis of the value of said predetermined exponent (b).
