The resonator is configured to attenuate the noise in a duct delimiting an internal channel for the flow of a fluid according to a reference axis, of the type including an annular compartment configured to extend around the channel and provided with at least one orifice forming a neck for communication with the flow channel so as to form a resonance chamber. Accordingly, the compartment has an inner structure with a geometry shaped so as to produce a revolution annular asymmetry of the resonance chamber about the reference axis, adapted to generate a phase shift of an acoustic pressure wave reflected inside the chamber relative to an acoustic pressure wave incident from the main flow.

A hinged connection device includes first and second tubular components around a main axis which respectively include a first male hinge member provided with an end head shaped as a spherical segment and a second female hinge member provided with a complementary seat receiving movably inside the end head of the first member. The first member is configured to be housed at least partially inside the first component and to be assembled to the second component throughout the second member. The second member is configured to be mounted around the second component and assembled to the first component over the first member such that the two tubular components are assembled together by the reciprocal intersection of the two hinge members.

Method for manufacturing an electro-filter

This separator device includes a separation chamber having an inlet and an outlet, an oil recovery chamber coupled to the separation chamber, an emitter electrode, a collector electrode, and an electronic unit connected to the emitter and collector electrodes, for during a charging phase, bringing the emitter electrode to a negative potential, so as to negatively charge oil drops, and bringing said at least one collector electrode to a zero or positive potential, so as to collect negatively charged oil drops. The separator device further includes a pressure-drop generating member in the separation chamber. The oil recovery chamber is coupled to the downstream portion of the separation chamber via a vacuuming port, so that the oil recovery chamber is depressed.

Device for separating oil drops in a mixture of gas and oil and a separation method implementing such a separator device

In this process, a gas stream containing the oil to be separated is circulated between an inlet zone and an outlet zone, and a calm vacuum zone is created where the oil is recovered and evacuated, after having been captured. According to the invention, the gas stream is passed in contact with a porous media, one face of which is in contact with the calm vacuum zone. The drops of oil are thus captured by the porous media and sucked through this media to arrive in the calm zone. This process is applicable to decanters of oil at impacters and also to cyclone separators, in particular in the automotive field.

Method and device for the decantation of oil contained in a gas stream

A recirculation device includes an air intake duct () which is followed by a manifold (), means for introducing recycled exhaust gases, for mixing same with the fresh air let in. This device is designed to inject the exhaust gases by forming two counter-rotating adjacent vortices (), owing to a twin tubular mixer nozzle () in communication with a common exhaust gas supply duct, positioned tangentially with respect to the two nozzles, placed side by side. The two vortices () are self-sustaining to the outlets () of the manifold (). Such a recirculation device is applied, in particular, to an air intake duct () of oblong cross section and/or to a manifold () with a flattened inlet () and/or a flattened plenum (), in particular for a motor vehicle engine.

Exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine

This cyclone device performs diphasic gas-oil separation to remove oil from the recirculated crank cases of an internal combustion engine. Mounted such that it can move vertically inside the cyclone is a body () exhibiting symmetry of revolution, particularly one of cylindro-conical overall shape. The body () delimits, with the walls of the cylindrical collecting zone () and/or of the conical zone () for recuperating the liquid oil, an annular gap () such that the passage cross section can vary according to the self-adjusting heightwise position of the body (), as a function of the gas flow rate. The speed of the gases thus remains constant for variable gas flow rates.
