A high-temperature circuit through which a high-temperature heat carrier fluid runs and which integrates a cooling radiator in which a cooling fluid flows, and a low-temperature circuit through which a low-temperature heat carrier fluid runs and which integrates a cooling radiator in which the cooling fluid flows, is disclosed. The pumps of the high- and low-temperature circuit form first actuators for running the heat carrier fluid though the circuits and second actuators for flowing the cooling fluids in the high- and low-temperature radiators, and sensors for detecting representative parameters of the cooling requirements of the high- and low-temperature circuits and for transmitting said parameters to a control unit. The transmitted parameters include at least one parameter related to the first actuators and at least one parameter related to the second actuators. The control unit adjusts the first and second actuators according to these parameters.

The inventive management system comprises a high-temperature circuit () provided with a high-temperature cooling radiator (), a low-temperature circuit () provided with a low-temperature cooling radiator (), wherein the same heat carrier fluid runs through said circuits. Said system also comprises a radiator () assignable to first switching means () and to second switching means () for switching the system from a connected configuration, in which the assignable radiator () is connected to the low-temperature circuit (), to a disconnected configuration, in which the assignable radiator is connected to the high-temperature circuit (), and vice-versa. The switching means are sequentially actuated after a time-delay during switching from the disconnected configuration to the connected configuration and/or from the connected configuration to the disconnected configuration in order to minimize thermal shocks in the assignable cooling radiator ().

The invention relates to a system which is used to cool at least one piece of motor vehicle equipment to a low temperature, comprising a heat transfer fluid circulation loop. According to the invention, a low-temperature heat exchanger () and at least one equipment exchanger () are mounted to the aforementioned circulation loop. The heat exchange surface of the equipment exchanger () is divided into at least first and second heat exchange sections (). A first flow (Q&#x3c;SB&#x3e;1&#x3c;/SB&#x3e;) of heat-transfer fluid passes through the first heat exchange section (), while a second smaller flow (Q) passes through the second section. The invention is suitable for motor vehicle heat exchangers.

According to the method, the gases are circulated in a liquid/gas heat exchanger () prior to their entering the internal combustion engine () and a high temperature liquid and/or a low temperature liquid is circulated in the liquid/gas heat exchanger () in order to heat and/or cool the gases () as required. The liquid/gas heat exchanger may comprise a single stage or two stages, that is a high temperature stage and a low temperature stage. It can also be used to cool the recirculating exhaust gases prior to their entering the engine.

The main system () furthermore comprises a short-circuit pipeline () and a heating pipeline () comprising an air heater (), and a secondary loop () including a secondary radiator () and a secondary pump (). The main system and the secondary loop can comprise equipments heated or cooled by equipment exchangers () included in the main system () and/or the secondary loop ().
