The disclosure provides an approach for collecting system state data relating to whether certain system states overload a processor assigned to a controller of the system. The approach further involves using the collected data to train a regression machine learning algorithm to predict whether indented or desired system states will result in processor overload. Depending on the prediction, the approach takes one of several steps to efficiently change system state.

Multi dimensional scale analysis using machine learning

Usage-based management of email rules is provided. An unused email rule of a set of active rules is identified. In response to detecting that the unused email rule is removed from the set of active rules, whether the unused email rule matches an incoming message is determined. Whether a count associated with the unused email rule exceeds a predetermined threshold is determined in response to determining that the unused email rule matches the incoming message. The unused email rule is restored to the set of active rules in response to determining that the count exceeds the predetermined threshold.

Auto clean-up of unused email rules

An approach for using shortcut input to access or group documents is provided. The input may be mapped to opening or grouping the documents based on user preferences, and the documents may be displayed once the computer system detects the input of the shortcut input.

Creating optimized shortcuts

A computer-implemented method, carried out by one or more processors, for managing unavailability notices. In an embodiment, the method comprises the steps of initializing an out of office notice, wherein the out of office notice is associated with a first user of an e-mail service; receiving inputs for the out of office notice, wherein the inputs include one or more of: a duration of time selection, alternative contact information, and message content; receiving a list of one or more user to whom to send an out of office alert notice; and sending to the one or more users from the list the out of office alert notice with a reminder function, wherein the reminder function allows for each of the one or more users to receive a reminder about unavailability at another time.
