In an approach for lightweight application virtualization based on policies defined by overlaying geofence for an edge computing architecture, a processor collects real-time data of one or more geofences of a specified geospatial area. A processor determines a hierarchy of the one or more geofences based on the collected real-time data. A processor determines applicable set of geofence policies based, at least in part, on the hierarchy of the one or more geofences. A processor generates edge-based policies for an edge device based on the applicable set of geofence policies. A processor creates corresponding orchestration protocols on the edge device based on the edge-based policies.

According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for selective dataset encryption is provided. The embodiment may include identifying one or more data items within one or more datasets to be moved from network attached storage to cloud-based storage. The embodiment may also include determining an encryption method to be performed on each data item based on a level of confidentiality or sensitivity of each data item. The embodiment may further include sorting each data item into one or more groups based on the determined encryption method. The embodiment may also include performing each determined encryption method to the corresponding group.

In an approach for improving robotic automation systems, a processor receives a request for a set of materials for an activity to be performed. A processor identifies one or more materials of the set of materials. A processor determines a sequence of operations to move the one or more materials. A processor prompts a first robot to pick a first material at the place of origination using a clamping system and to deposit the first material in a first micro trolley. Responsive to determining an arm of the first robot is in a first orientation, a processor moves the first material along a first track on an arm of a multi-robotic system from the place of origination to the place of destination. A processor prompts a second robot to pick the first material from the first micro trolley at the place of destination using the clamping system.

In an approach to improve data governance and security for digital assets, embodiments apply, based on blockchain based smart contracts, privacy and security policies for a participating heterogeneous digital twin enclosed within predetermined boundaries of a geofence boundary, and apply, based on a hierarchical designation of geofences, hierarchical privacy and security policies to geofences associated with the participating digital twin. Further, embodiments dynamically generate computational and deployment policies based on the applied hierarchical privacy and security policies of the geofenced digital twin, and create dynamic test automation workflows for enhanced security and privacy testing that enumerate security, privacy vulnerabilities or high-risk geospatial areas. Moreover, embodiments generate a knowledge corpus comprising information security and information privacy control attribute profiles for the geofence and components of the geofence, and implement enhanced policy models for predicting an event to be a policy breach based on the generated knowledge corpus.

A computer identifies a position of a first robot in an environment and a range of movement of an arm of the first robot. The computer generates an alignment plan for moving a first conveyor to be aligned with the first robot so that the first conveyor is engageable with the arm of the first robot within the range of movement of the arm. The first conveyor and the first robot include respective supports that are separate from each other. The computer transmits the alignment plan for execution so that the first conveyor is moved according to the alignment plan.

A method for performing a welding procedure includes determining conditions of the welding procedure using a virtual image of a structure on which the welding procedure is to be performed. The method further includes generating specifications for performing the welding procedure based on the conditions. The method further includes generating a virtual reference shape based on the conditions and the specifications, the virtual reference shape generated by modifying the virtual image. The method further includes comparing a resulting shape of the welding procedure with the virtual reference shape. The method further includes determining a quality of the welding procedure based on the comparison. The method further includes storing data pertaining to the welding procedure.

The method further includes capturing, by a second system on the second vehicle, the data associated with the anomaly. In response to determining captured data by the second system on the second vehicle requires transformation to conform to the first vehicle, the method further includes transforming the captured data by the second system on the second vehicle to conform to the first vehicle.

The method further determines a trench pattern based on the generated digital twin of the proposed trench and ridge metrics and collaborates with the autonomous robotic soil dredger to generate the trench pattern.

In response to determining a wireless network is not available within the activity area, the embodiment may include deploying one or more relay computing devices to deployment locations within the activity area based on the workflow, the communication requirements, and the communication capabilities. The embodiment may include instructing the one or more relay computing devices to create a wireless network which enables wireless communication among the multiple industrial machines.
