A data capture device includes: an imaging module including an image sensor and a lens; a temperature sensor associated with the imaging module; a memory storing, for a plurality of temperatures, respective imaging module response parameters corresponding to the temperatures; an imaging controller connected to the image sensor and the temperature sensor; the imaging controller including a frame generator configured to: receive (i) image data from the image sensor and (ii) a temperature measurement from the temperature sensor; generate a raw image frame containing the temperature measurement and the image data; and provide the raw image frame to a calibrator for generation of a calibrated image frame based on the raw image frame and one of the imaging module response parameters corresponding to the temperature matching the temperature measurement.

Temperature compensation for image acquisition and processing apparatus and methods

An electrical control device comprising a housing configured to be at least partially mountable within a single-gang electrical box; and including at least first and second switches disposed at least partially within the housing, each the at least first and second switches configured as providing a respective first and second input to the electrical control device and, the electrical control device being configured to be wired to a respective first and a second electrical load. A communications device disposed at least partially within the housing is configured to wirelessly transmit a control signal to control at least one additional electrical load.

An electrical device is disclosed for use in a wall box having a series of buttons that can either be rocker buttons or push buttons; these buttons can be supported by springboards formed integral with a support board; the springboards are for biasing the series of buttons; much of the device is housed within a housing formed at a first end by a body and a second end by a strap coupled to the housing; the strap extends beyond the body, wherein this strap can be used to dissipate heat from the device; inside of the housing can be at least one circuit board which has switches, which can be used to receive instructions from a plurality of buttons.

Electrical control device

An electrical receptacle is disclosed. The electrical receptacle includes a housing and at least one socket at least partially disposed within the housing and having at least a pair of entry ports. The at least one socket is controllable by a radio frequency signal. The electrical receptacle also includes an antenna at least partially disposed within the housing configured to at least receive the radio frequency signal used to control the at least one socket. The electrical receptacle further includes at least one tamper resistant device at least partially disposed within the housing. The at least one tamper resistant device is configured to block the entry ports unless a mating electrical plug is inserted into the at least one socket.

A dimming system and method of operating the same are provided. The dimming system includes a first terminal configured to operatively connect to a first conductive line, a second terminal configured to operatively connect to a second conductive line, and a third terminal configured to operatively connect to a third conductive line. The first conductive line is configured to connect to a load, the second conductive line is configured to supply an alternating current, and the third conductive line is configured to connect to a current path. The dimming system further includes a controller operatively connected to at least one of the first, second and third terminals for controlling operation of the dimming system. The first and second terminals are configured for electrically connecting to a primary power supply and the first and third terminals are configured for electrically connecting to a secondary power supply. The primary power supply is powered through connection to neutral, and wherein the secondary power supply is powered through connection to an earth ground.

A remote control electrical device which can communicate with a remote control device. The electrical control device is adapted to fit into a housing which fits into a wall mounting. The remote control electrical device can comprise a control circuit disposed in the housing, a transmitter disposed in the housing, a receiver disposed in the housing wherein said transmitter and said receiver are in communication with the control circuit. There is also a support plate having an inside face facing into the housing and an outside face facing away from the housing body. The support plate is coupled to the housing, wherein there is also an antenna disposed on the outside face of the support plate. This antenna does not receive any power-line AC frequencies or DC, instead it is capacitively coupled to the rest of the electrical components and disposed on the outside face of the support plate.

An electrical device is disclosed for use in a wall box having a series of buttons that can either be rocker buttons or push buttons. Inside of the housing can be at least one circuit board which has switches, which can be used to receive instructions from a plurality of buttons. In one embodiment, a plurality of light pipes are adapted so that they are housed at least partially inside of these buttons. At least one portion of the light pipe can be formed as a shaft and adapted to extend out from this housing and down to a light emitter disposed on the circuit board. In at least one embodiment, this light pipe can also include at least one actuator which is used to contact an associated springboard when a button is acted on. This movement causes the springboard to contact an actuator on a TAC switch which then results in an associated set of instructions being sent to the circuit board.

A cordless telephone outlet device that not only provides the cordless telephone access to a telephone network, but also provides the cordless telephone the proper DC electrical energy for proper operation eliminating the need for an unsightly external DC power supply typically connected to an AC outlet. Further, the device significantly reduces exposure of the telephone line connection between the cordless telephone and the telephone network. The outlet device comprises a body having a communications connector mounted thereon and a base attached to the body. The base contains DC power supply circuitry that is connected to a source of AC electrical energy. The output of the power supply circuit is connected to a DC line terminated with a DC male plug. The cordless telephone can be directly mounted onto the device allowing the communications connector of the cordless telephone to engage directly with a corresponding communications connector mounted onto the device of the present invention while the device also provides DC power to the cordless telephone via the DC male plug. Alternatively, a relatively short telephone line cable can be used to electrically connect the respective communications connectors with the cordless phone mounted onto the outlet device of the present invention.
