The method further includes detecting a gaming request response, wherein the gaming request response is associated with the game identifier, exchanging at least one of the plurality of gaming parameters, and updating at least one of the plurality of gaming parameters on the mobile device to reflect the exchanged at least one of the plurality of gaming parameters.

The authentication information identifies a user of the handheld device. The printing device may include an image capture module to capture surface images of a medium and a positioning module to determine positioning information based at least in part on navigational measurements and the captured surface images. A mobile device may include one or more features of the printing device including the image capture module, the positioning module, and the print module. Method and apparatus for providing quality of service (QoS) in a wireless local area network

A cellular phone including a transceiver and a processing module. The transceiver receives, from a device separate from the cellular phone, a radio or intermediate frequency signal. The radio frequency signal has been tuned by the device to a selected frequency. The intermediate frequency signal is a downconverted version of the radio frequency signal. Each of the radio and intermediate frequency signals includes the content. The content has been frequency modulated and broadcast at the selected frequency prior to the transceiver receiving the radio or intermediate frequency signal. A processing module downconverts the radio or intermediate frequency signal to a baseband signal and converts the baseband signal to a digital signal. The processing module either forwards the digital signal for audio play out of the content at the cellular phone or forwards the digital signal to the transceiver for transmission of the digital signal back to the device.

In at least one aspect, a system includes a wireless client and a server. The wireless client generates a congestion quality metric based on a number of packet transmission retries and a received signal strength. The server generates configuration data for configuring one or more transmission parameters of the wireless client based on the congestion quality metric, and the wireless client configures the one or more transmission parameters according to the configuration data.

In one aspect, a method for communicating with a wireless communication system through a wireless client includes associating a wireless client with a wireless communication system; at the wireless client, receiving one or more real time data packets transmitted from the wireless communication system, each real time data packet containing real time data; and sending an acknowledgement (ACK) packet for each real time data packet correctly received by the wireless client.

The second accelerometer is worn by the user and generates a second signal representing both an acceleration of the user within the vehicle and the acceleration of the vehicle due to the motion of the vehicle. The controller isolates, based on the first signal, i) the acceleration of the user within the vehicle represented in the second signal from ii) the acceleration of the vehicle represented in the second signal. The controller moves the cursor relative to the objects based on the acceleration of the user within the vehicle as isolated from the acceleration of the vehicle.
