A failsafe valve system configured to bring the valve to a predefined state (e.g., fully opened, fully closed) if the actuator fails (e.g., loss of power). The failsafe system of the present disclosure is energy efficient and reliable.

Failsafe actuated valve

An aircraft ground refueling management system of the present disclosure utilizes various components already existing in an aircraft ground refueling vehicle to characterize and track, in real time, events of an aircraft refueling operation. The components include a fuel meter, a fuel delivery deadman sensor, a fuel nozzle sensor and a ground refueling vehicle brake sensor. Data from these components in combination with data provided by a mobile computing device that is integral to the refueling operation provide the data points to determine the amount of time elapsed for each event of the refueling operation. Knowledge of each event of the refueling operation provides the opportunity for identifying where time spent can be reduced.

Aircraft ground refueling management system

An aircraft refueling system () includes a master controller (), a fleet controller () in communication with the master controller, a platform controller () in communication with the fleet controller, and a fuel control system () in communication with the platform controller. Embodiments of an aircraft refueling system may include a primary pressure controller (), a secondary pressure controller (), a programmable logic controller (), and a data logger controller (). The master controller may be configured to receive and analyze data from at least one of the fleet controller, the platform controller, and the fuel control system; and to modify operational parameters or upgrade the fuel control system based at least in part on the analysis of received data.

Aircraft refueling system

A system for monitoring components of an aircraft ground refueling system includes a first computing device and a second computing device hosting a data base. The first computing device is caused to read a component identification tag secured to a component of an aircraft ground refueling system; the tag contains a unique component identifier. The first computing device transmits the component identifier to the second computing device which verifies that the component identifier is active in the data. The first computer, responsive to the verification, displays a user interface to receive data representative of an operational status of the component and transmits the operational status. The second computing device stores the data in the database to create an operational history of the component. The second computing device analyzes the history of the data to determine a characteristic operational parameter of the component of the aircraft ground refueling system.

Asset utilization management for aircraft ground refueling equipment

A fluid system includes a controller, a control valve, and a fluid manifold. At least one solenoid may be connected to the fluid manifold, the control valve, and/or the controller. A first pressure sensor may be in fluid communication with an output of the control valve. A second pressure sensor may be in fluid communication with the fluid manifold. The controller may be configured to control operation of the control valve via the at least one solenoid according to a first fluid pressure obtained via the first pressure sensor and according to a second fluid pressure obtained via the second pressure sensor.

Fluid system having a control valve and a monitoring system therefor

A temperature monitoring system includes an enclosure, an external temperature sensor, and an internal temperature sensor. The enclosure may be explosion-proof, and may include a controller and an internal display disposed within the enclosure. The external temperature sensor may be configured to detect an outside temperature, and the internal temperature sensor may be configured to detect a temperature inside the enclosure. Upon the external temperature sensor and/or the internal temperature sensor detecting a temperature that meets or exceeds a set or specified value or limit, the system may be configured to implement an action or order. In an embodiment of the system, the system may be configured to stop fueling in the event that the external temperature sensor and/or the interior temperature sensor detect a temperature that meets or exceeds a certain temperature.

Intelligent temperature monitoring system and method therefor

A fluid system includes a controller, a control valve, and a fluid manifold. A first solenoid may be connected to the fluid manifold, the control valve, and/or the controller. A second solenoid may be connected to the fluid manifold, the control valve, and/or the controller. A first pressure sensor may be in fluid communication with an output of the control valve. A second pressure sensor may be in fluid communication with the fluid manifold. The controller may be configured to control operation of the control valve via the first solenoid and the second solenoid according to a first fluid pressure obtained via the first pressure sensor and according to a second fluid pressure obtained via the second pressure sensor.
