There is described an opening device for a package having a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The opening device comprises a contact portion and a closing element detachably and/or rupturably attached to the contact portion and configured to close the designated pour opening. The closing element comprises a central main wall and a plurality of leg elements connected to and extending from the central main wall. The central main wall comprises a plurality of radially extending ridge elements, each one being interposed between one respective leg element and a center of the central main wall and a plurality of grooves, each one extending between one respective pair of leg elements.

There is described a lid assembly for a container having a spout. The lid assembly comprises at least a coupling ring configured to be arranged around at least a portion of the spout; a lid configured to selectively cover a pouring outlet of the spout; and a tethering element tethering the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises at least a first gripping wall and at least a second gripping wall defining respective engagement surfaces configured to be engaged by at least a portion of an application device and/or to support gripping and/or alignment and/or rotation of the lid during a coupling of the lid assembly to the spout and being arranged on opposing portions of the lid. There is described lid-spout assembly for a package having a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The lid-spout assembly comprises at least a collar, a coupling ring arranged around a portion of the collar, a lid and a connecting element connecting the lid and the coupling ring with one another. The collar comprises a first annular interaction ridge and the coupling ring has at least one flap including at least one engagement surface abutting and/or designed to abut against an abutment surface of the first annular interaction ridge. The collar also comprises a second annular interaction ridge protruding from the outer surface of the collar and being axially displaced from the first annular interaction ridge. The flap further comprises at least one contact surface designed to interact and/or interacting with a guiding surface of the second annular interaction ridge so as to direct the engagement surface towards and/or against the abutment surface.

There is described a lid-spout assembly for a package. The lid-spout assembly comprises at least a spout having a collar carrying a pouring outlet, a coupling ring arranged around a portion of the collar, a lid and a hinge element hinging the lid to the coupling ring. The lid is controllable between at least a closed configuration and an open configuration. The lid-spout assembly comprises an interaction assembly partially associated to the collar and partially associated to the lid and being designed such to determine a threshold force needed to be exceeded, in use, in order to control the lid from the closed configuration to the open configuration.

A lid assembly comprises a coupling ring, a lid and a connecting unit connecting the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises a cover wall configured to cover a pouring outlet and a sealing ring protruding away from the cover wall and configured to interact with a collar carrying the pouring outlet to seal the pouring outlet. The sealing ring comprises at least a first ring portion and a second ring portion. The first ring portion comprises a first end spaced apart from the cover wall and the second ring portion comprises a second end spaced apart from the cover wall. A first distance of the first end from the cover wall with respect to a normal axis of the cover wall is greater than a second distance of the second end from the cover wall with respect to the normal axis.

There is described a spout for a package having a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The spout comprises at least a collar extending along a longitudinal axis, carrying a pouring outlet at a first axial end and an inlet opening for the pourable product at a second axial end and delimiting a flow channel for the pourable product extending between the pouring outlet and the inlet opening a closing element configured to interrupt a fluidic connection between the pouring outlet and the inlet opening. The closing element is interposed between the inlet opening and the pouring outlet and is rupturably fixed to an inner surface of the collar.

An improved battery pack is inserted in a handle portion of a handheld scanner. The battery pack has an integral shock absorbing system where the structure surrounding the battery cell provides advantageous shock protection. The improved battery pack has a locking and unlock mechanism for retention of the battery pack. The locking and unlock mechanism retains the battery pack in the handheld scanner in the event of a shock or impact.

Portable terminal

A device for illuminating a portion of a hand-held scanner to indicate a status of the scanner provides an even distribution of light emission. The device might include various elements that facilitate an even distribution of the light. For instance, in one aspect the device includes a set of reflective surfaces that are positioned throughout the scanner together with light-emitting devices (e.g., LED) in a manner to evenly transmit light emissions. In another aspect, the device includes a light-diffusing translucent member, which smoothly and evenly presents the light emissions that are reflected off of the reflective surfaces.
