A housing for an electronic device includes a panel, where the panel includes a window. A cage includes a plurality of panels and a first end and a second end that opposes the first end. The cage further includes an opening at its first end and an enclosure disposed between the panels of the cage. Connecting structure is disposed at the first end of the cage, where the connecting structure secures the first end of the cage to the panel. The cage is suitably dimensioned to receive and retain a portion of a pluggable module within the enclosure when the pluggable module is inserted within the opening at the first end of the cage.

Embodiments presented in this disclosure generally relate to a ground device. More specifically, embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a grounding device for indicating whether there is proper grounding for electrical equipment. One embodiment presented in this disclosure provides an apparatus. The apparatus generally includes a lug configured to be coupled to a physical ground node, the lug having one or more bolts for coupling the lug to a surface of a plate such that the physical ground node is electrically coupled to an electrical ground node. The apparatus also includes a sensing circuit configured to detect whether the physical ground node is electrically coupled to the electrical ground node, and provide an indication of whether the physical ground node is electrically coupled to the electrical ground node based on the detection.

The cage further includes an opening at its first end and an enclosure disposed between the panels of the cage. The cage is suitably dimensioned to receive and retain a portion of an optical module within the enclosure when the optical module is inserted within the opening at the first end of the cage.

A method includes mapping, by an optical transceiver, a received first OTU4 signal to a first FlexO frame without interleaving the first OTU4 signal into an ODUC signal prior to mapping the first OTU4 signal to the first FlexO frame. The method also includes communicating, by the optical transceiver, the first FlexO frame with the mapped first OTU4 signal to a coherent DSP over a first FOIC.

The first network element inserts trail trace identifier information into the reserved bytes in the overhead bytes. The trail trace identifier information identifies the first network element as a source of the optical network frame.

An apparatus comprises an Ethernet port including high-side transformers and low-side transformers. High-side current paths supply high-side currents form a high voltage rail to high-side center taps of the high-side transformers. Low-side current paths supply or do not supply low-side currents from a low voltage rail to low-side center taps of the low-side transformers, and convert the low-side currents to sense voltages. A controller configures the low-side current paths to either supply or not supply the low-side currents to the low-side center taps when none of the sense voltages exceed a voltage threshold representative of an overcurrent threshold or when at least one of the sense voltages exceeds the voltage threshold, respectively. A current monitor injects additional current into the low-side current paths only when at least one of the high-side currents exceeds the overcurrent threshold.
