Acetabular prosthesis comprising an acetabular cup, an acetabular insert, able to be stably coupled inside the acetabular cup and configured to receive an articulation head and a centering unit configured to guide and center the insertion and stable positioning of the acetabular insert in the acetabular cup. The centering unit comprises a centering hole provided in the acetabular cup and a centering pin provided on the acetabular insert and which develops along a centering axis, configured to be inserted in the centering hole. The centering pin is provided with an external lateral surface that has an undulating development along the centering axis.

Acetabular prosthesis

A device for resecting a femur includes a resection body provided with resection grooves configured to receive a cutting surgical instrument to obtain at least two sections of the femur. The resection body has two separate elements, selectively assembleable to each other in a stable and releasable manner. A first element is a cutting template, having the resection grooves. A second element is a measuring and reference member, having a plurality of measuring and reference holes configured to determine an angular offsetting with respect to a longitudinal axis of the femur, and an axial translation along the longitudinal axis of the femur between the two sections. A releasable holder is provided between the cutting template and the measuring and reference member. The measuring and reference holes are made on the measuring and reference member according to a matrix associated with axial and angular coordinates in ordered rows and columns.

Device for the resection of the femur

A modular humeral prosthesis suitable for implant in a humeral seating of a humerus comprises an articulation component, a distal joint element able to be inserted into said humeral seating along an insertion axis, and an adapter body provided with a support positionable in the humeral seating and that has a coupling seating to connect said articulation component and provided with a connection unit inserted into said support to connect said distal joint element to said adapter body in a releasable manner. The connection unit comprises a clamping element associated in a selectively releasable manner to the distal joint element and the support has a through coupling seating configured to receive and position said clamping element inside it, and also configured to allow the insertion and extraction of said distal joint element through said support without removing said support from the humeral seating.

Modular humeral prosthesis

Prosthetic element including a metal cap having inside an acetabular seating and method to make it. At least part of the cap is a lattice having open and intercommunicating cavities. At least part of the lattice is formed, without a continuity break, by geometric meshes of polygonal shape repeated in space over all or part of the body, having a cellular geometry with elementary cells open and contiguous, to define a plurality of polygons with spatial development delimiting the cavities. Each geometric mesh has a first polygonal part with four sides, each of the sides being an angled segment, and a second part being an angled segment and a third part being an angled segment. Each angled segment has first and second consecutive rectilinear segments forming an angle at an intersection of each pair of its first and the second consecutive segments. The first polygonal part has non co-planar vertexes.

Prosthetic element and relative method to make it

An insert for an acetabular cup includes an insertion body having an external surface shaped to be able to be coupled with a mating seating of the acetabular cup. The insert includes at least a friction element positioned on the external surface to determine a predefined friction with the surface of the seating, so that, during use, the friction element prevents the relative rotation of the insertion body and the acetabular cup.

A humeral prosthesis, for the articulation of a humerus in a scapula of a shoulder having a glenoid cavity, includes an articulation device able to be associated both with an articulation element mounted on the glenoid cavity, and also at the top of said humerus by an attachment element. The articulation device comprises a first element able to articulate with the articulation element and a second element associated with the attachment element, the first element and the second element being pivoted to each other around a pivoting axis to allow a free relative rotation thereof around the pivoting axis.

Humeral prosthesis

Attachment element for a prosthesis of the shoulder for the articulation of a humerus in a scapula of a shoulder having a glenoid cavity. The prosthesis comprises a first articulation element associated with the top of the humerus, and a second articulation element associated with the glenoid cavity. The attachment element comprises a first part for removable anchorage to the first or second articulation element, and a second part for attachment of the prosthesis to the bone part of the scapula in a position outside the bulk of the first and second articulation element.

Inverse prosthesis of the shoulder for the articulation of a humerus in a scapula of a shoulder comprising a glenoid cavity. The prosthesis includes an at least partly convex articulation element, including elements for support and attachment to the glenoid cavity, and able to articulate with an at least partly concave mating articulation element, associated with the top of the humerus. The articulation element includes a substantially hemi-spherical element and a pin-type implant element made as distinct and reciprocally removable elements, so as to allow them to be assembled sequentially with respect to the glenoid cavity.
