The application discloses a power conversion system (PCS) parallel architecture and a synchronous control method. Among a plurality of corresponding PCS controllers of the PCS parallel architecture, when a target PCS controller is the first to issue a synchronization signal on a synchronization signal bus, the target PCS controller obtains control authority, the synchronization signal issued by the target PCS controller is taken as a system synchronization signal, and other PCS controllers that did not obtain control authority refer to the system synchronization signal for synchronizing with the system synchronization signal.

Power conversion system (PCS) parallel architecture and synchronization control method thereof

A power conversion apparatus is provided. A detecting circuit detects a current flowing into a boot voltage input pin and converts the current into a corresponding detecting voltage. An adjusting signal generating circuit generates an adjusting signal according to the detecting voltage. A control circuit adjusts control parameters thereof according to the adjusting signal.

Power conversion apparatus

A voltage converter including a constant turned-on time signal generator, a first transistor, a second transistor, an inductor, a ripple signal compensator, and a ripple injection circuit is provided. The ripple signal compensator is coupled to an output terminal of the voltage converter and a second terminal of the first transistor, and generates an adjusted ripple signal according to a switching voltage on a second terminal of the first transistor and an output signal of the voltage converter. The ripple rejection circuit generates a ripple injection signal according to the adjusted ripple signal. Wherein, the constant turned-on time signal generator generates a first and second driving signals for respectively driving the first and second transistors according to the ripple injection signal.

Voltage converter

An output power adjusting method is applied on an inverter. The inverter includes a capacitor to store direct current (DC) electricity provided by a photovoltaic (PV) module. At least the DC electricity provided by the PV module is converted into alternating current (AC) electricity. Determine whether a power value of the AC electricity exceeds a power threshold. When the AC electricity exceeds the power threshold, the inverter works in a continuous mode. When the AC electricity does not exceed the power threshold, the inverter works in a discontinuous mode where the PV module charges the capacitor. In the discontinuous mode, determine whether a voltage on the capacitor exceeds a reference voltage, and when the voltage on the capacitor exceeds the reference voltage, the DC electricity provided by the PV module and DC electricity in pulses provided by the capacitor are converted to the AC electricity.

Output power adjusting method for inverter

A full-bridge quasi-resonant DC-DC converter is provided, including a transformer having a primary winding and a secondary winding, a full-bridge converting circuit electrically connected with the primary winding of the transformer, a resonant capacitor provided between the full-bridge converting circuit and the primary winding, a rectifier circuit electrically connected with the secondary winding of the transformer, and a resonant inductor connected in series with the rectifier circuit. Therefore, the full-bridge quasi-resonant DC-DC converter reduces the switching losses of the switching elements and effectively reduces the size of the converter, while increases the conversion efficiency.

Full-bridge quasi resonant DC-DC converter and driving method thereof

A voltage converter is disclosed. The voltage converter includes a constant on time signal generator, a first and second transistors, an inductor, a feedback circuit and a ripple injection circuit. The constant on time signal generator generates a first and second driving signals for driving the first and second transistors. The voltage converter generates an output signal at an output end thereof. The feedback circuit divides the output signal to generate a feedback signal at a feedback end of the voltage converter. The ripple injection circuit gets the voltage of the feedback end and the voltage of the phase end to generate a injection signal. The constant on time signal generator generates the first and second driving signals according to the injection signal, the output signal and a reference signal.

A DC-DC converter includes a power conversion circuit for converting a DC input voltage to a DC output voltage; and an active clamp circuit for soft switching a first active switching element of the power conversion circuit and recovering leakage inductance energy of a main transformer of the power conversion circuit. As such, the present disclosure provides a DC-DC converter that reduces the switching loss of the switching elements and effectively recovers the leakage inductance energy, thus increasing the conversion efficiency of the converter.

DC-DC converter with active clamp circuit for soft switching

A power conversion apparatus is disclosed. The power conversion apparatus includes a power transistor, a thermal resistor and a temperature detection circuit. A control terminal of the power transistor receives a control signal. The power transistor converts an input voltage into an output voltage according to the control signal. The thermal resistor has a negative temperature coefficient. The temperature detection circuit generates the control signal and provides a driving current to the control terminal of the power transistor according to the control signal. The temperature detection circuit further generates an over temperature protection signal according to the driving current.

A voltage converting apparatus and a sub-harmonic detector are disclosed. The sub-harmonic detector includes a pulse eliminating circuit, a counter, and a comparator. The pulse eliminating circuit receives a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal and a reference PWM signal having a same period. The PWM signal and reference PWM signal has a plurality of pulses and reference pulses respectively. The pulse eliminating circuit eliminates at least one part of the pulses which overlap with the reference pulses for generating a processed signal. The counter counts the processed signal and the PWM signal during a time period to obtain first and second counting values. The comparator compares the first and second counting values for detecting whether a sub-harmonic condition happens or not in the PWM signal.

Voltage converting apparatus and sub-harmonic detector thereof

A voltage converter includes a constant on time signal generator, a first transistor, a second transistor, an inductor, and a ripple injection circuit. The constant on time signal generator generates a first driving signal and a second driving signal. The ripple injection circuit receives an output signal and generates a ripple injection signal. The constant on time signal generator generates the first and second driving signals according to the ripple injection signal, the output signal, and a reference signal.

Voltage converter for generating output signal with steady ripple

A DC to AC conversion circuit including an inverter, a first inductor, a first capacitor, a second inductor and a second capacitor is provided. The inverter has two input contact points and two output contact points. The input contact points receive a DC signal, and the output contact points output an AC signal. The first terminal of the first inductor is coupled to one of the two output contact points. The first capacitor is coupled to the first inductor in parallel. The first terminal of the second capacitor is coupled to the second terminal of the first inductor, and the second terminal of the second capacitor is coupled to another one of two output contact points. The first terminal of the second inductor is coupled to the first terminal of the second capacitor, and the second terminal of the second inductor is coupled to a load.

DC to AC conversion circuit with resonant circuit

A structure of a fly-back power converting apparatus is disclosed. The structure includes a power transistor, a current detector, a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator and a current limiter. The power transistor is coupled to an input voltage and receives a PWM signal. The current detector detects a current output from the power transistor and generates a detecting voltage according to the current. The PWM signal generator generates the PWM signal according to a comparing result by comparing the detecting voltage and a standard voltage. The current limiter generates the standard voltage according to a turn-on time of the power transistor.

Fly-back power converting apparatus

A buck voltage converting apparatus is disclosed. The buck voltage converting apparatus includes a first transistor, a second transistor, an inductor, a controller and a switch. The first transistor receives an input voltage. A first terminal of the inductor is coupled to the first and second transistors. A second terminal of the inductor is coupled to an output terminal of the buck voltage converting apparatus for generating an output voltage. The controller receives the output voltage, and generates a detection voltage according to voltage amplitude of the output voltage. The switch is coupled between a first terminal of the first transistor and a control terminal of the second transistor. The switch is turned on or off according to the detection voltage.

Buck volatge converting apparatus

A power supply and its startup circuit are provided. The startup circuit includes a first transistor, a bias resistor, a pull-down switch, a voltage detector, and a discharging path generator. A first end of the first transistor receives alternating current (AC) input power. The bias resistor is serially coupled between a second end and a control end of the first transistor. The pull-down switch is turned on or turned off according to a detection result. The voltage detector generates the detection result by detecting a voltage on the second end of the first transistor. The discharging path generator provides a discharging path between the second end of the first transistor and a reference ground voltage according to the detection result.

The second terminal of the icoil is coupled to the first terminal of the (i+1)coil, wherein N is a positive integer greater than 1 and 1&#x2266;i&#x3c;N. Besides, a distance between the icoil and the (i+1)coil is in direct proportion to a voltage difference between the first terminal and the second terminal of the (i+1)coil.
