A machine includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a hood positioned in front of the cab where the chassis and the hood define an internal compartment therebetween, a prime mover positioned within the internal compartment, a cooling pack positioned within the internal compartment, a fan positioned within the internal compartment and configured to drive an airflow through the cooling pack, a first debris shield positioned along a first side of the internal compartment, and a second debris shield positioned along an opposing second side of the internal compartment. Each of the first debris shield and the second debris shield includes a shield body defining a vent, a baffle positioned proximate the vent, and an actuator configured to reposition the baffle from an open orientation to a closed orientation.

The pressurized fluid received by the plurality of nozzles is expelled from the plurality of nozzles and directed through the grille.

The system may further include a nozzle provided in operative association with the engine air intake assembly and directed towards the air intake screen. Additionally, the system may include a pressurized fluid source configured to supply pressurized fluid to the nozzle. The pressurized fluid received by the nozzle is expelled from the nozzle and directed through the air intake screen.

The housing includes at least one inlet bore and at least one exhaust bore. The at least one inlet bore and the at least one exhaust bore are positioned to establish a pressure differential configured to circulate a fluid into the at least one inlet bore, through the housing, and out the at least one exhaust bore. The system does not have any feature in addition to the at least one rotating component configured to drive the fluid into the at least one inlet bore, through the housing, and out the at least one exhaust bore.

An exhaust treatment system for a work vehicle includes a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system having an SCR outlet for expelling treated exhaust flow therefrom, a flow conduit in fluid communication with the outlet, an exhaust sensor positioned within the flow conduit downstream of the outlet, and a flow mixer positioned upstream of the exhaust sensor. The flow mixer has an end wall defining sector openings circumferentially extending between first and second sector sides and radially between radially inner and outer sector ends. Moreover, the flow mixer has swirler vanes, where each of the swirler vanes extends circumferentially from the first sector side of a respective one of the sector openings and radially between radially inner and outer vane ends. Particularly, the radially outer vane end of each of the swirler vanes is spaced apart from the radially outer sector end of the respective one of the sector openings.

An aftertreatment system for a work vehicle includes: a fluid injector configured to inject a treatment fluid; a selective catalytic reducer (SCR) substrate; and a mixer fluidly coupled to the fluid injector and the SCR substrate and including at least one scroll defining a scroll open area and configured to receive a flow of exhaust gas and the treatment fluid. The mixer has a fixed wall and a plate displaceably coupled to the fixed wall, the plate being associated with the at least one scroll such that a change in a flow rate of exhaust gas into the at least one scroll passively causes displacement of the plate to adjust a size of the scroll open area.

A mixing conduit for use within an exhaust treatment system of a work vehicle. The mixing conduit is configured to receive engine exhaust and a mixture of engine exhaust and reductant. The mixing conduit includes an outer tube and an inner tube within the outer tube. Each tube extends lengthwise from upstream ends to downstream ends of the inner and outer tubes, respectively. The inner tube includes an exterior surface, and the outer tube includes an interior surface. The inner tube defines an inner flowpath within the inner tube. The outer tube and inner tube also define an outer flowpath radially between the exterior surface of the inner tube and the interior surface of the outer tube. The mixing conduit further includes one or more swirler vanes extending radially between the exterior surface of the inner tube and the interior surface of the outer tube and within the outer flowpath.

In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can be used as part of an iterative design process in which a product designer is able to iteratively make changes to a component design by iteratively interacting a visualization of a virtual representation of the component within a virtual environment.

The side wall couples the bottom wall to the top wall to define a cavity that receives and houses a liquid. A conduit guides liquid from a fluid source into the cavity. The conduit defines an inlet and an outlet. The outlet couples to the side wall. A vent coupled to the housing and to the conduit. The vent defines a vent inlet coupled to the housing and a vent outlet coupled to the conduit. The vent discharges gas from the housing into the conduit.

An operator cab for a work vehicle includes: a cab enclosure including a roof an operator chair disposed in the cab enclosure; at least one layer of noise-deadening material coupled to the roof; and a headliner coupled to the roof such that the at least one layer of noise-deadening material is at least partially disposed between the headliner and the roof. The headliner includes a noise-reflective material and a noise escape region that comprises at least one opening configured to allow sound waves to pass through the noise escape region into the at least one layer of noise-deadening material and reduce noise reflection by the headliner to the operator chair.

A selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system includes a SCR canister including a SCR inlet configured for receiving engine exhaust from a work vehicle and a SCR outlet configured for expelling a treated exhaust flow. The system includes first and second SCR chambers housed within the SCR canister and configured to react mixtures of exhaust reductant and associated first and second portions of the engine exhaust with a catalyst to generate first and second treated exhaust flow portions, respectively. The system includes an outlet chamber positioned between the SCR outlet and the first and second SCR chambers. Moreover, the outlet chamber is configured to combine the first and second treated exhaust flow portions to form the treated exhaust flow. Further, the system includes a chamber mixer positioned upstream of the SCR outlet and configured to promote mixing of the first and second treated exhaust flow portions within the outlet chamber.

Outlet flow mixers for selective catalytic reduction systems of work vehicles

A sensor assembly for use within a flow conduit, the flow conduit configured to receive a treated exhaust of an exhaust treatment system of a work vehicle, includes an exhaust sensor positioned within the flow conduit between the upstream and downstream ends. Moreover, the exhaust sensor is configured to detect an amount of an emission gas present in the treated exhaust. The sensor assembly further includes a sensor shield positioned within the flow conduit upstream of the exhaust sensor. The sensor shield includes a hub and a plurality of flow divider beams extending from the hub. Additionally, the sensor shield creates a wake area downstream of the hub within which a turbulent exhaust flow is generated as the treated exhaust is directed past the sensor shield. Furthermore, the exhaust sensor is configured to receive the turbulent exhaust flow from the wake area.

A cab for a work vehicle includes: walls enclosing a cab environment; a door coupled to one of the walls, one of the walls or the door comprising a vent opening; a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system coupled to the cab environment and configured to regulate a temperature and a pressure of the cab environment; and a pressure control flap associated with the vent opening and comprising a pressure-relief opening and a magnetic portion that is configured to hold the flap closed when the pressure of the cab environment is below a threshold pressure and allow the pressure to open the flap when the pressure exceeds the threshold pressure.
