Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose a computing device comprising a wake-up detect circuit configured to detect a state change of a link light emitting diode (LED) associated with the computing device. The wake-up detect circuit is configured to transmit a wakeup trigger signal to a processor to transit from a sleep mode to a wake-up mode in response to the detection of the state change of the link LED. The processor is configured to establish a connection between the computing device and another computing device via a communication link in the wake-up mode, the other computing device corresponds to a device that has caused the state change of the link LED.

Methods and systems for power management of readers

Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose a radio-frequency identification (RFID) reader having a first RFID tag having a first antenna element operating at a first transmit power. The first RFID tag receives, in a first time interval, a first interrogation command from a first RFID reader through the first antenna element. The first RFID tag transmits, in the first time interval, a first response signal to the first RFID reader. The RFID reader comprises a second antenna element that operates at a second transmit power and a processor communicatively coupled to the second antenna element. The processor transmits, in the first time interval, a second interrogation command to one or more second RFID tags through the second antenna element. The first RFID tag transmits, in a second time interval, a third interrogation command to a first RFID tag of a second RFID reader through the first antenna element.

Methods and systems of mesh configuration of radio frequency identification (RFID) communication

Apparatuses, methods and systems for unlocking a tracking apparatus that is affixed to an asset are disclosed herein. In one example, a method of unlocking a tracking apparatus that is affixed to an asset is provided. The tracking apparatus may comprise an electronic tag electronically coupled to a securing component comprising an actuating element. The method may comprise: receiving asset information associated with the tracking apparatus; generating and storing a secure machine-readable code in conjunction with the asset information; in response to receiving a request to unlock the tracking apparatus, determining whether a received input corresponds with the stored secure machine-readable code; and providing an indication to cause an electronic reader in electronic communication with the tracking apparatus to trigger deactivating the actuating element.
