An ambient-light-sensing hole structure package and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The ambient-light-sensing hole structure package includes a transparent cover, a decorative layer, a porous structure layer, and an optical adhesive. The transparent cover has a surface. The decorative layer is disposed on the surface and the decorative layer has an opening that exposes a portion of the surface. The porous structure layer is disposed on one side of the decorative layer and the porous structure layer covers the portion of the surface. The porous structure layer includes a plurality of through holes, and the through holes overlap with the opening. The optical adhesive is interposed between the decorative layer and the porous structure layer.

Ambient-light-sensing hole structure package and method of manufacturing the same

A touch panel capable of being simply manufactured includes a foldable substrate, a plurality of touch driving electrodes on the substrate, and a plurality of touch sensing electrodes on the substrate. The substrate includes two laminated layers achieved by folding. The touch driving electrodes are on one of the two laminated layers and the touch sensing electrodes are on the other of the two laminated layers. The touch driving electrodes and the touch sensing electrodes are formed by a same conductive layer on a surface of the substrate.

A metal migration-proof touch panel structure is proposed to solve the problem: metal migration occurs in the active area of a metal mesh-based touch panel and causes short circuit in metal traces. The present invention is characterized in indirectly linking the ESD dummy to the ground terminal via an ESD protection element to replace the conventional design that directly connects the ESD dummy with the ground terminal. Thus, the ESD dummy and the ground terminal are normally in an open-circuit state. While ESD interference occurs, the ESD protection element an impedance approaching zero ohms and fast conducts the energy to the ground terminal to drain off the energy. The ESD protection element is a varistor or a transient voltage suppressor.

A method of determining input pattern is adapted to be implemented on an electronic apparatus equipped with a touch panel and includes the steps of: detecting a plurality of boundary points between an input pattern inputted through the touch panel and a circumscribed polygon of the input pattern, detecting an area ratio of a polygon defined by the boundary points to the circumscribed polygon, and determining the shape of the input pattern at least according to the area ratio. The present invention also provides a computer readable storage medium having a program stored therein. When the program is executed which enables an electronic apparatus equipped with a touch panel to determine the shape and/or direction of an input pattern inputted through the touch panel.

A method for detecting touch-point coordinates includes: scanning a plurality of signal points in sequence to generate a plurality of original data including a plurality of original touch point data; performing a grouping algorithm for the original touch point data to group the original touch point data into a plurality of group sets; and calculating a barycentric coordinate of each of the group sets and outputting the barycentric coordinate as a touch-point coordinate of each of the group sets.

Touch-point coordinate detecting method

A touch device is disposed on a substrate having a plurality of scan lines. The touch device comprises a plurality of readout lines and a plurality of sensors. The readout lines and the scan lines are intersected with each other, and the sensors are electrically coupled to the corresponding scan lines and the corresponding readout lines respectively. A scan signal is introduced into the scan lines in sequence to control whether turning on the sensors, and the scan signal comprises at least one first turn-on pulse and a second turn-on pulse to simultaneously turn on at least two sensors which are electrically coupled to different scan lines.

An electroluminescent display touch panel includes a base substrate and an encapsulating substrate. The base substrate includes a pixel switching device, a readout device, an electroluminescent device, and a sensing pad. The pixel switching device and the electroluminescent device are disposed in a display region. The readout device and the sensing pad are disposed in a non-display region. The encapsulating substrate includes a first spacer, a sensing spacer, and a conductive layer. The first spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate, maintaining a cell gap between the base substrate and the encapsulating substrate. The sensing spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate and corresponding to the sensing pad. The conductive layer is formed on the surface of the sensing spacer facing the sensing pad.

A projective capacitive touch apparatus and a method for identifying multi-touched positions are provided. The multi-touched positions are touched on a projective capacitive touch panel. The method comprises the following steps: generating a first set of reference values according to the first touch position; generating a plurality of second sets of reference values according to a second touch position, and filtering out at least one ghost second set of reference values from the second sets of reference values. Furthermore, the plurality of second sets of reference values comprise a real second set of reference value and at least one ghost second set of reference values, while the ghost second set of reference values comprises parts of the first set of reference values.

Projective capacitive touch apparatus, and method for identifying distinctive positions

An over-driving device is provided. In a first frame, a compression circuit compresses a first image signal to generate a first compression image signal, and a buffer temporarily stores the first compression image signal. In a following second frame, the compression circuit compresses a second image signal to generate a second compression image signal, and the buffer outputs the first compression image signal to serve as a first buffer image signal. A comparison circuit compares the second compression image signal and the first buffer image signal and generates an enable signal according comparison result. A decompression circuit decompresses the first buffer image signal to generate a previous image signal. An over-driving unit receives the second image signal to serve to a current image signal and receives the previous image signal and the enable signal. The over-driving unit over drives the display device or not according to the enable signal.

Over-driving device

A display panel with multi-touch function includes a display area and a non-display area. The display area includes a data line, a gate line, a first sensing line, a second sensing line, and a sensing unit. The sensing unit electrically connects the first and second sensing lines according to a touch signal or electrically isolates the first sensing line from the second sensing line. The non-display area includes a gate driver, a first switch and a second switch. The first switch provides a path for charging the second sensing line according to a scan signal, and the second switch provides a path for discharging the second sensing line according to a reset signal.
