The first insulating layer has a first opening and a second opening. A portion of a side face of the first sub-electrode located on the second sub-electrode is covered by the first insulating layer. A portion of the light-emitting functional layer located in the first opening is in contact with the first sub-electrode, and a portion of the light-emitting functional layer located in the second opening is in contact with the second portion in the second sub-electrode.
