A system for providing a behavior simulation platform service is provided, and comprises: a user terminal that selects and downloads at least one behavior simulation program, and then applies the at least one behavior simulation program to a previously owned robot; and a platform service provision server including a database unit that maps and stores the at least one behavior simulation program and at least one robot, a transmission unit that, if the user terminal selects a behavior simulation program, transmits the selected behavior simulation program to the user terminal, and a storage unit that, if feedback is received from the previously owned robot via the user terminal, stores the feedback.

Disclosed is a server system for performing communication over a wireless network. At least one client device transmits and receives data over the wireless network. A server device performs a state monitoring or controlling operation for the at least one client device. In the server device, an encoder compresses and encodes data to be transmitted that includes a double buffer storing the encoded data. A network renderer transmits the data encoded by the encoder to a corresponding client device over the wireless network. A buffer manager detects an overflow of the buffer storing the data encoded by the encoder and issues a control signal for pausing an encoding operation when the overflow is detected. Therefore, the server system can avoid data loss and system shutdown caused by transmission delay and can ensure stability of the server system performing communication with a wireless network.

Disclosed are a server system for performing communication over a wireless network and a communication method thereof. The server system comprises at least one client device and a server device for performing a state monitoring operation or a control operation for the client device over the wireless network. When a data packet is sent, the server device begins to send a following packet by variably applying a transmission rate according to a network transmission state when a leading packet has been completely transmitted. Because a transmission rate can be set appropriately to the network state, the number of unnecessary retransmissions can be reduced. Therefore, transmission delay can be avoided and stable and rapid wireless communication can be achieved.

Television-watchable refrigerator system and method for operating the same

A system and method for switching a communication mode of a detachable pad refrigerator, wherein the attachment/detachment of a client pad to/from the refrigerator is sensed and the communication mode of the refrigerator with the client pad is switched to a wired/wireless communication mode according to the sensed result so that signals can be transmitted and received in the switched communication mode. A communication module is installed in the refrigerator to transmit and receive signals to/from the client pad by wire or wirelessly. A refrigerator control unit is adapted to control the communication module to automatically switch the communication mode of the refrigerator with the client pad to the wired/wireless communication mode according to the attachment/detachment of the client pad. Therefore, the present invention has the effect of increasing the client pad's use efficiency and user's convenience, and stability of signal transmission and reception owing to the automatic switching between the wired communication mode and the wireless communication mode.

An Internet refrigerator with a Web pad and a method for operating the same. The Web pad is detachably mounted on the Internet refrigerator, and transmits and receives data to/from the Internet refrigerator on the basis of a remote display protocol (RDP). The Web pad is a client Web pad detachably mounted on an outer surface of the Internet refrigerator. The client Web pad is adapted to receive a display signal transmitted from the Internet refrigerator and output the received display signal externally. A server control unit is provided to transmit the display signal to the client Web pad on the basis of the remote display protocol such that data processed in the Internet refrigerator is displayed through the client Web pad. Application programs and multimedia data are driven on the basis of the server control unit, resulting in a reduction in work-load on the client Web pad.

Internet refrigerator with web pad and method for operating the same

An Internet refrigerator with a heat sink uses cold air from the Internet refrigerator itself, without a CPU cooling fan on a main board. The Internet refrigerator includes a main board with a chip set thereon and a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the main board. A heat sink plate faces a surface of the main board and absorbs heat generated from the chip set. A pipeline having both ends connected to an interior of a cooled compartment of the refrigerator is arranged to contact a lower surface of the main board at a portion thereof. Additionally, a cooling fan can be arranged in the cooled compartment of the refrigerator for introducing cold air from the cooled compartment of the refrigerator into the pipeline.
