Methods of detecting material in an object are provided. The method includes emitting an entangled photon pair having a sensing photon and a local photon, directing the sensing photon to the object including a predetermined material, directing the local photon to a detector, and detecting a change in the local photon when the sensing photon encounters the predetermined material in the object.

A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product for monitoring a platform. Images are received by a computer system from a sensor system positioned to monitor movement of human beings relative to the platform. A set of the human beings is identified by the computer system in the images. The movement of the set of the human beings relative to the platform is determined by the computer system using the images. A count of the human beings on the platform is determined by the computer system based on the movement determined for the set of the human beings. A set of actions is performed by the computer system based on the count of the human beings on the platform.

A method and apparatus for simulating spectral representation of a region of interest is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a physical characteristic of a geospatial portion of the region of interest, associating the determined physical characteristic with a material of a spectral library, the spectral library having at least one spectral definition material, associating the spectral definition of the material with the geospatial portion of the region of interest, wherein the material is at least partially representative of the geospatial section of the region of interest, and generating the simulated spectral representation of the region of interest at least in part from at least the associated spectral definition of the at least one material.

Method and apparatus for simulating spectral information of geographic areas

An invention is provided for concealing an object. The invention includes a plurality of electromagnetic radiation sources that generate an electromagnetic radiation spectrum, and a controller in communication with the plurality of electromagnetic radiation sources. The controller includes logic that compares the electromagnetic radiation spectrum generated from the plurality of electromagnetic radiation sources with an electromagnetic radiation spectrum from an environment surrounding the object. In operation, the controller adjusts the plurality of electromagnetic radiation sources to generate an electromagnetic radiation spectrum that matches the electromagnetic radiation spectrum of the environment surrounding the object.
