A spacer panel is incorporated into building walls to drain accumulated moisture from the wall structure. The spacer panel is formed with spacer members that project on opposing sides of a central planar web member. Each spacer member is formed independently and has a planar portion extending around the spacer member to provide a location for the insertion of apertures to allow moisture to pass from one side of the panel to the other. Each spacer member includes a planar surface that facilitates an application of adhesive for attachment of a barrier member thereto. The spacer members can be oriented in a herringbone pattern alternating on opposing sides of the central web member. The spacer members can be formed as a circular projection extending on one side of the central web with a truncated conical member projecting to the opposing side of the central web from the circular projection.

Moisture drainage spacer panel for building walls

An adaptable vent baffle mountable to an underside of a roof deck and to a wall plate of a building structure between a pair of roof rafters having a rafter spacing for permitting ventilation between a soffit and an attic space of the building structure. A main body portion has a longitudinal axis and is positioned generally on a main body place. A spacer extends from the main body portion and a tail portion is hingedly mounted to the main body portion. The main body portion and tail portion include first and second side edges and a baffle width is defined between the first and second side edges. At least one line of weakness extends generally parallel to the longitudinal axis for modifying the baffle width to adapt to the rafter spacing.

Adjustable width vent baffle

A perforating machine for perforating a plurality of perforation lines in a vent baffle sheet comprises a support table having two spaced apart openings, perforating wheels, two backstop wheels, and an endless feed belt having a plurality of protrusions. The perforating wheels and the two backstop wheels are positioned on opposite side of the support table. The perforating wheels engage with the two backstop wheels through the two spaced apart openings. The endless feed belt has an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion of the endless feed belt is positioned above the support table. The protrusions on the lower portion of the endless feed belt engage with side stiffeners of the vent baffle sheet to move the sheet through the perforating wheels.

Perforation machine for manufacturing adjustable vent baffles

A vent baffle assembly provides air ventilation in a cathedral ceiling having rafter beams and roof sheathing. The vent baffle assembly includes a first vent sheet and a second vent sheet. The first vent sheet has first and second ends, first and second longitudinal ribs and a first lateral stiffener extending generally perpendicularly to the ribs. The second vent sheet includes third and fourth ends, third and fourth longitudinal ribs, and a second lateral stiffener extending perpendicularly to the ribs. The first vent sheet is positioned between adjacent rafters with the ribs oriented parallel to the rafters. The second vent sheet overlaps the first vent sheet with respective ribs interengaged to limit lateral movement of the first vent sheet relative to the second vent sheet. The first lateral stiffener engages the second lateral stiffener to limit longitudinal movement of the first vent sheet relative to the second vent sheet.

Cathedral ceiling vent baffle

A wheelbarrow for transporting materials includes an undercarriage, a wheel rotatably mounted to the undercarriage, a pan mounted to and supported by the undercarriage and a fastening mechanism having a head. The pan includes a base wall and an upright wall extending upwardly from the base wall. The base wall and upright wall define a carrying space and a carrying surface facing the carrying space. A depression is formed in the pan defining a depression plane that is generally continuous with the carrying surface. The fastening mechanism mounts the pan to the undercarriage such that the head is positioned within the depression between the undercarriage and the depression plane.

A single-piece vent baffle and method of installing a vent baffle. The vent baffle includes a main body portion and a tail portion and a first face and a second face. The main body portion includes at least one spacer extending from the first face. The vent baffle may be installed to an underside of a roof and to a wall plate by positioning the spacer adjacent the underside of the roof to create an air flow channel between the underside of the roof and the first face. The vent baffle blocks an opening between the roof and the wall plate while allowing ventilating air to flow through the air flow channel.

An apparatus for connecting contact sheets to form a contact body is disclosed, that provides for deforming projection-depression couplings formed in two or more interlocking sheets to form positive locks by which assemblies of sheets are formed. The apparatus includes crimping devices that crimp projection-depression couplings located in the interior area of the interlocked sheets and projection-depression couplings located adjacent the side edges of the interlocked sheets, again to form positive locks by which assemblies of sheets are formed.

Apparatus for making contact bodies

A contact body is disclosed, comprising at least two contact sheets having opposing surfaces and a projection extending outward from one surface of each contact sheet, wherein the projection defines a depression on the opposite surface of the contact sheet, a projection of one contact sheet being disposed within a depression of an adjacent contact sheet to form a projection-depression coupling, and the projection-depression coupling being deformed to form a positive lock. A method and apparatus of connecting contact sheets to form a contact body are also disclosed, that provide for deforming projection-depression couplings formed in two or more interlocking sheets to form positive locks by which assemblies of sheets are formed. The apparatus includes crimping devices that crimp projection-depression couplings located in the interior area of the interlocked sheets and projection-depression couplings located adjacent the side edges of the interlocked sheets, again to form positive locks by which assemblies of sheets are formed.

Contact bodies and method and apparatus of making same

A grid structure capable of withstanding a compressive force comprises a peripheral frame, a plurality of first grid members connected to and extending within the peripheral frame and a plurality of second grid members connected to and extending within the peripheral frame. The second grid members intersect the first grid members. The first and second grid members form a grid of small frames disposed within the peripheral frame. The grid has an upper surface and a lower surface wherein a first group of at least a portion of at least one of the first and second grid members have flanges on the upper surface, the flanges being generally perpendicular to the first and second grid members and a second group of at least a portion of at least one of the first and second grid members have flanges on the lower surface, the flanges being generally perpendicular to the first and second grid members. A process of making the grid structure is also disclosed, as is an assembly of such grid structures.

Grid structure

This invention relates to an assembly comprising a first corrugated sheet and a second generally planar sheet. The corrugations form alternating apices on opposite sides and equidistant from a central major plane in the first sheet, where the apices are connected by angled walls. The second sheet has a central major plane which is generally parallel to the central major plane of the first sheet. The second sheet has complementary regions disposed in overlapping adjacent complementary relation to, and abutting the apices of, the first sheet. The second sheet has undulating regions disposed between the complementary regions, where the undulating regions alternate above and below the central major plane of the second sheet. The undulating regions alternating above the central major plane of the second sheet have a peak wavefront and the undulating regions alternating below the central major plane of the second sheet have a valley wavefront, whereby the wavefronts of the undulating regions are angled with respect to longitudinal axes of the complementary regions to an extent necessary to interlock adjacent first and second sheets.

Tube settler assembly

This invention relates to an assembly composed of a plurality of generally parallel corrugated contact sheets. The corrugations form alternating apices in the sheets. The apices are connected by angled walls. The corrugations in each sheet are substantially parallel and disposed at an oblique angle to an edge of the sheet. Adjacent sheets are oriented such that the corrugations of one sheet cross the corrugations of an adjacent sheet at intersections of the apices. The sheets have generally planar positioner pads positioned at least at some of the intersections of the apices of the corrugations of adjacent. The apices have indented portions between each positioner pad.

Corrugated sheet assembly

Plastic linings in the form of synthetic polymeric plastic resiliently flexible sheets are disclosed having matingly engagable connector structures along their opposing edges to permit mated engagement of adjoining sheets to form a continuous lining. The sheets have a uniform transverse cross section which extends from one end of the sheet to an opposing end of the sheet to permit extrusion of each sheet. Y-shaped engagement members are preferably provided to better secure the sheet to the surface of a concrete body of a concrete structural element being lined with the sheet. The matingly engaged connectors further provide a compression joint between mated, adjoining sheets. The sheets may also be bonded together along the joints to provide a fluid-impervious seal between the mated sheets. L-shaped synthetic polymeric plastic end members are further bonded to the sheet at corners of the concrete body where the sheets end to provide smooth, protected surfaces for coupling elements together.

The present invention is directed to a truck bed liner having a front end and a rear end, the liner comprising a floor, opposed side walls having side edges joining the floor, a front wall having side edges joining the side walls and a lower edge joining the floor, and support elements associated with the side walls adapted to support a shelf member extending between the side walls within the liner above the floor. More specifically, the support elements comprise side wall portions extending within the liner between the side walls and having a horizontal upper surface adapted to support the shelf member. Preferably, retainers, which may be in the form of recesses formed in the side wall portions, are provided for retaining transverse shelf support members extending from one side wall to the other side wall.

Improved gas liquid contact sheets and contact bodies are disclosed comprising a plurality of parallel and generally vertical corrugated contact sheets, wherein the corrugations form alternating apices in the sheets, the corrugations being disposed at an angle to the horizontal and wherein the corrugations are substantially parallel and adjacent sheets are oriented such that corrugations of one sheet cross the corrugations of an adjacent sheet at intersections of the apices, the improvement comprising positioner pads positioned in apices of the corrugations of the contact sheets, such that at least about eighty percent of the intersections of adjacent sheets contain abutting pairs of the positioner pads.
