A structure is provided that includes a perforated first skin, a second skin and a core. The core includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a first baffle and a second baffle. The core forms a plurality of cavities vertically between the perforated first skin and the second skin. The first baffle is connected to the perforated first skin at a first baffle first end. The first baffle is connected to the second skin at a first baffle second end by a first moveable joint. The second baffle is connected to the perforated first skin at a second baffle first end. The second baffle is connected to the second skin at a second baffle second end. A first of the cavities extends laterally between the first sidewall and the second sidewall. The first cavity extends longitudinally between the first baffle and the second baffle.

A panel for an active laminar flow control arrangement may comprise a longitudinal wall and one or more division walls extending from the longitudinal wall and extending between the first end and the second end. The panel may be coupled to a nacelle outer skin via a plurality of adhesive fasteners pre-installed onto an inner surface of the outer skin and onto stiffeners and/or stringers associated with the outer skin.

A thrust reverser arrangement may comprise an inner fixed structure (IFS), a track beam, a translating sleeve slideably mounted to the track beam, a bypass duct defined between the IFS and the translating sleeve, and an acoustic treated fairing coupled to the translating sleeve, wherein the acoustic treated fairing is configured to attenuate noise generated during operation of a gas turbine engine.

This assembly includes a panel, which panel includes an outer skin, an inner skin and a plurality of plenums between the outer skin and the inner skin. Each of the plurality of plenums is fluidly coupled with a respective array of perforations through the outer skin. The panel is constructed from fiber-reinforced composite material.

An active laminar flow control arrangement may comprise an outer skin having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a perforated area, and a panel coupled to the inner surface. The panel may comprise a longitudinal wall, a sidewall extending from the longitudinal wall, a ridge intersecting the sidewall, a cavity disposed in the panel and at least partially defined by the sidewall and the longitudinal wall, and a division wall disposed in the cavity and extending from the longitudinal wall, wherein the division wall divides the cavity into a first plenum and a second plenum. The longitudinal wall, the sidewall, the ridge, and the division wall may comprise a single, monolithic piece.

An active laminar flow control arrangement may comprise a modular arrangement comprising a plurality of frames and cover panels coupled to an outer skin having a plurality of hat stiffeners and stringers. A first cover panel may be coupled between a first frame and a first hat stiffener. A second cover panel may be coupled between a second frame and a second hat stiffener. A third cover panel may be coupled between the first cover panel and the second cover panel. The cover panels may enclose associated plenums whereby a flow of air is pumped into the arrangement for maintaining a laminar flow across an aerodynamic surface of the outer skin.

Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a fan ramp for use in a thrust reverser portion of a nacelle of a gas turbine engine, the fan ramp extending circumferentially about an axial fan ramp centerline. The fan ramp comprises a fan ramp forward edge disposed proximate an aft end of a fan case, the fan case at least partially surrounding a fan section of the gas turbine engine. The fan ramp also includes noise attenuating structure at a forward section of the fan ramp forward of a torque box.

An assembly is provided for an aircraft propulsion system. This assembly includes a fixed structure, a translating structure, a blocker door and a rigid linkage. The translating structure is configured to translate relative to the fixed structure. The blocker door extends between a blocker door first end and a blocker door second end. The translating structure is pivotally attached to the blocker door at the blocker door first end. The rigid linkage includes a first pivot attachment, a second pivot attachment and a third pivot attachment. The first pivot attachment is coupled to the fixed structure. The second pivot attachment is coupled to the translating structure. The third pivot attachment is coupled to the blocker door at the blocker door second end.

An assembly is provided for an aircraft propulsion system. This assembly includes a nacelle inlet structure, a thrust reverser and a fan cowl. The thrust reverser includes a forward portion and a translating sleeve. The fan cowl is axially between the nacelle inlet structure and the translating sleeve. The fan cowl axially covers the forward portion of the thrust reverser. The fan cowl is axially structurally tied to the nacelle inlet structure. The fan cowl is radially and circumferentially structurally tied to the forward portion of the thrust reverser.

An exhaust assembly may include an exhaust body and a pivoting attachment feature. The exhaust body, such as a center body or a nozzle, may be configured to direct an annular exhaust stream exiting from a gas turbine engine. The pivoting attachment feature may be coupled the exhaust body and may be configured to pivotally couple the exhaust body to an engine flange. The pivoting attachment feature may be one of a plurality of attachment features circumferentially distributed around the exhaust body. The exhaust body may be a center body and the plurality of attachment features may be coupled to a radially inward surface the center body. The pivoting attachment feature may enable a degree of relative thermal expansion movement between the engine flange/turbine exhaust case and the exhaust body while mitigating detrimental thermal loads, according to various embodiments.
